Yay - more Vistabule content! Of course we have one but its been a long hard winter and she is tucked away in the garage until the snow melts so its good to see others using theirs. Ours would likely have been built alongside Dave and Jackie's - 306 was picked up in Sept 2019. Windy spot there - we try and make a point of always turning ours into the wind whenever possible to avoid potential mishaps with doors, hatches etc and when really crazy winds are forecast we prep food ahead of time that we can eat without using the galley at all or go out for dinner if thats an option. They are both entertaining but also valuable educational tools for someone like myself interested in getting their first teardrop. Would love to pick your brain about the two brands I’m considering. @@CosmoWeems it’s between the vistabule and the bean stock by bean trailers. I’m also an east coast guy, (also towing with a 19’ outback) and my main concerns are 1. Longevity 2. Water/moisture resistance 3. Weight. Also do you usually winterize your vistabule? That’s another thing I don’t know too much about that seems like a bit overwhelming. Thanks for the reply!
I try not to recommend a specific trailer. Peoples needs vary. Both are good choices. You have probably seen lots of video on both. When I saw my trailer I knew immediately it was what I needed. If you get a trailer with water you will need to add antifreeze to the water system or drain it totally. I commend you for trying something new! I would double check the tongue weight of both trailers and what that weight includes. Then add some weight for water and gear. If its over 200 pounds its over specifications for the Outback. =Cosmo

QUESTION: on my diy teardrop, my dometic cooler constantly ran while stored in the galley (hot compresser exhaust warming the tight area). Do you find the same issue or does the vistabule vent somehow?? Thanks 🤔
I position the fridge so it draws air in from the rear and side and blows it out the front into the Galley. I leave the sliders open when its hot. So far no problem. But I have one problem, I emailed Vistabule several times about why they don't extend their frame all the way to the back like alot of other trailers. No Response, not even from Lilly. So not sure why or why they are not responding. So maybe you may have the answer. I'm sure it is a simple one. Thanks Alan

@@CosmoWeems I have no doubt that the frame is strong. But where is the support for the floor of the galley? It seems from the photos it hangs between the 2 outside walls. Is is undercoated or sealed? I haven't seen a Vistabule in person so this is why I am asking.
