- Movie World Gold Coast Theme Park Vlog - it's the 2024 DC Super Heroes & Super Villains event! Warner Bros. Movie World is a Theme Park / Amusement Park on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia! 🇦🇺
Join us as we visit the park during this popular holiday event. We check out the shows, characters, food, ambience, rides, ride wait times, roller coasters, atmosphere and much more! Includes a cool DC night parade that features Batman swinging over main street on a zip line!
DC Heroes & Villains is the parks' holiday event, that is themed all around the iconic good guys and bad guys from DC Comics! From Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman to the Joker and Harley Quinn. Even Bugs Bunny & friends take part! It's a fun event with lots of shows, characters, parades and more! The 2024 event lasts from 24th June to 21st July.

I do miss the Batman Returns style Penguin, especially since Catwoman is clearly still inspired by that look.
I think the reason it's so strange looking is he's dressed all in a very light grey and baby blue color palette, i've never seen ANY iteration that looks like that
It is very weird, and doesn't mix well with the Tim Burton style Catwoman! Hopefully they improve it for next year
Love anything looney tunes, wish the kids today grew up on the old classic shorts like I did
It's a shame they're relatively underutilized nowadays - but going strong at Movie World thankfully!

For some reason, the Riddler show was using music from a game called Jet Set Radio. The particular song they used is called Sneakman. Fitting for a villain like him, but definitely wasn’t expecting it.
Wow, good catch! That's actually pretty interesting - I always thought it was a random royalty free song. I wonder if they got a license to use it
I would have liked to see other Looney Tunes as DC characters. Like if Bugs is Superman, then Elmer Fudd could be Lex Luther. They do share one physical similarity. And yeah, Daffy Duck as Batman.

great to get back to movieworld this is my favourite event of the year at movieworld and im glad its back for this year!! that fountain display is sick green everywhere I love it!!! (I wonder if dorothy walking the streets is a superhero hmmm lol) I love the photo ops!! with the joker and harly quinn (whenever i use to see the joker show at movieworld i ran away thats how scared i was) Thats a new penguin from the last years feels like ur in a video game and ur watching a fight battle (epic) Riddler ? (had to put the question mark in) I love the good citzens awards its a good show! I love the smiler 10000 prop! and i love how batman and robin come in and save the day! AYYY ITS SUPERMAN!! Since it is dc super heroes and super villans I love going into the gotham city cafe (is it new food than lastyear for the event offering idk) Ooh I love the flash show I havent seen that Flash show before but it looks FlashEPIC!! i really want to but love this show i love how wonder woman and green lantern comes in
love to see the superheroes and villans roam the street i can never get enough of speed force its amazing!! (and i love how 2 coasters at once very cool) the trackwork in green lantern is incredible I love the AC in justice league ride and the set props!! do you think its better than the six flags version in u opinion? DC RIVALS!!! I love that ride i love how u go up then u see joker then go down and u get an amazing view of the car park which is dope BOOST JUICE!! i love getting the banana 1 love the HA HA HA thing the photo ops they have for this year r amazingg!!! (the protest signs r well designed) DONT BAN THE BAT! :( the marrilyn monrore show is a classic! Love the shop I use to get a tweety plush it looks very big i still have it! from the movieworld shop and i got a bugs bunny throphy which i still have which is very very cool! Dorothy being a hero would be a huge twist! haha yeah it did feel like a game a bit. I love the Batman Arkham games, reminded me of that a bit!. I think it's mostly the same food from last year, but the Bat burger combo was new!
haha yeah, had to include the infamous Flash face! Can't wait for Oz! I'd love to visit for the grand opening (if they allow me). I haven't done the Six Flags Justice League, but from watching videos I'd say it's better overall for sure. Love the plushies! I think I still have a Roadrunner toy I got from Movie World in the 90's somewhere

Love this video! I'm planning to go here tomorrow, and I really want to meet the Joker again- do you know around what time he was out? Also, the theming really is GREAT😀 though the parade wasn't really better than last year's. That was on a whole other level. Another Question: Was it really busy, or not so much? If you go to the photo centre there is a character list that will tell you the times of meet and greets!

The VRTP App has the estimated wait times, but you sadly have to be in the park to see the times

Yup, it's the same! It's nice that both the Batman and Joker models from Arkham are being reused for the event

Felt too Batman focused for me, Superman should always be central, Batman creation and many heroes own it to the creation of Superman.
Would have been cooler having Superman up on wires flying across the crowd...
Perhaps we'll see a larger focus on Superman in future events to tie in with the upcoming film

I went to movie world last Sunday and got straight on the flash from opening it was faster then I expected wait times went up to about 20 mins and max 45 at mid day but went down after a bit but wasn’t too bad. I went on it the first time with my uncle and it didn’t spin then after went on it with my auntie after watching it spin but for me it didn’t😡
I remember you asking about that, glad you got on it! I'll have to pay attention to see how the seats spin, as sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.

No Ogre reveals sorry, not that kind of channel! As for Rivals, I sadly can't ride it (or most) rides at the moment due to a borked back. Working on fixing it!

$21 for a meal? I'd rather starve and pass out and then sue them for overpricing food to the point of not being able to afford to eat! That's insane!
For Theme Park prices it's actually relatively reasonable - much more expensive at the Disney parks. This is also in AUD, you may be thinking of USD.
the DC costumes look like shit..........cheap as fuck - compare them to Warner Bros Movie World from 1998 in Germany
