Suqqu the liquid foundation is super famous in Asia. Almost the best foundation in market.

Can’t stop laughing about the “toilet seat cover.” And I’m with you - my first instinct would be to flip up the top (not twist) the lid of the Rose Inc. components. 🤣 keeping it real.
Everything is so pretty but I’m a little mad at Suqqu for sending PR to US based influencers since we can’t easily get them here. 😏
I know about Selfridge’s but that’s a lot of money to spend on makeup shipped from another country where I can’t see the color IRL and can’t return.
I AGREE!!! I’ve chased Suqqu new releases/products for a few years… Spent Plenty on Shipping. Done until I can Purchase in the US. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
I really like having the Selfridges shipping deal where you pay @$50 and all shipping is covered for the year. You can always make returns and i’ve found some purchases are cheaper and shipping is amazing and faster than from many brands here. Last Christmas when there were so many US shipping/sourcing problems for presents, I shopped Selfridges and had things in days.
I love SUQQU cheeks. Hope you can try their eyeshadow palettes someday.

Yes! Thank you so much for using the Suqqu foundation, concealer and blush. Although I have several of the blushes, I was hesitant to purchase the foundation. Simply cannot tell the shades online and, sadly, Suqqu isn’t much help. I’ll add that to my mental list for Suqqu: need more information regarding shade ranges in foundation (and blushes) and, please, make the information on the packaging easier to read! It’s very chic, I’ll admit, but should packaging be a mystery?

Yeah I was wondering y the exaggereyes was looking peachy orange when it's supposed to be a metallic nude taupe like shade. I've only seen it on her models and on Charlotte holdcroft tho so idk. That's the shade I was interested in bc I like u love a good one and done shade the same kind as u. Idk if its playin off the blush and bronzer shades u used or the sunlit glow shade that's causing it to look peachy orange or what. I would love to know when u try it again what happens.
This was a great peachy coppery summer look. The complexion products gave such a subtle glow- very flattering. I love a peach tone for you

I love Tilbury products in terms of formula but I hate that every lipstick is SO warm in tone. There’s just no variation. It’s weird to me that they never change it up
I am so glad you finally tried the Suqqu foundation which looks so natural and luminous. Yes I do remember you got the Suqqu concealer a while back which was too dark and you got rid of it😂
Wow, your makeup looks extra amazing today. I love the foundation it gives your skin such an amazing glow, but yet has just the right amount of coverage. I’m definitely thinking of picking it up myself. You always look beautiful, but today you just have a special glow!!!!!💖

I agree about the powder. I see it and I don’t like under eye. Pores for me it’s meh I’m 61 🤫so it’s different for sure. Also I love the foundation and the CT. I WANT THE SHADOWS. SO PRETTY. I was looking up Rose Inc as well
I’ve never had good luck with the Laura Mercier powder-very drying even though I use just a whisper of powder to finish my look. My favorites are Sisley’s loose in Irisée and Cle de Peau’s loose in translucent. For a compact powder, I’ve been enjoying Westman Atilier in Translucent. None of those look dry on my skin nor do they dry out my skin. As for Suqqu, I wish it was available in the US. I don’t mind spending for prestige makeup, but I don’t like the idea of throwing money away by purchasing products sight unseen from another country. Suqqu, please come to the US.
I forgot to say, I’m 2/3 of the way through your video and your face is looking dry.
Totally agree. I’m so hard to match that I won’t buy a foundation without trying a sample. Luckily, we are going to England next month , so Selfridges, here I come.

I also never had any luck with Laura Mercier powders but I swear by the ByTerry hyaluronic acid powder in translucent and then also the colored version. It is absolutely gorgeous!
@@KsenijaCelner I love the ByTerry one too. I use it every day but sparingly. I think that’s the key. Just under my eyes and on any wrinkles.

Not often I can see that a really expensive foundation looks dramatically better on the skin than a mid range one, but this looks genuinely flipping fabulous!

I use my finger for my eye concealer. Mainly, due to it being the only place I can wear makeup, I don’t feel like pulling out a brush. It’s easier to wash my hands. 😊
I think the same of the Laura Mercier. I think you will love Rose Inc. ;regarless of the toilet seat, their products are right your alley.
Big question: Does the Suqqu foundation replace your tried and true favorite Surratt foundation?
Oh I am living for Suqqu - liquid foundation works so well for me I just ordered a backup and the blushes are sooooo good. i also love their watery protection cream with 50 spf and their Nuance eyeliners finally make it easy for me to get a good line since I’m a clutz with liner. The Selfridges Suqqu folks, esp Wing, are wonderful too.
PS - I’m now using that Lancôme mascara thanks to you and yes! My lashes are growing and improving which is a super treat at my age.

On me Island Dream is kind of a dusty rose nude, not as warm as Glowing Jen or Stoned Rose. It is beautiful when worn with Charlotte's Pillow Talk Dreams palette.

I think everything looked so lovely on your face. I don’t think the eye color oxidized, I think when you added the lip color it played off that. It all worked perfectly!

I’ve never used anything from Suqqu before but they were really popular when I lived in Japan, particularly the foundation
How would you say the Suqqu liquid foundation compares to the brand new Hourglass Ambient foundation, Michele? I'd choose whichever is more moisturizing and gives me more of a glow of the two. Also, how does their High Cover concealer compare to the La Prairie concealer? That's my personal favorite.
I also highly recommend the Givenchy Teint Couture Everwear concealer to you, Michele. It's not as expensive as the La Prairie, it isn't too yellow and it is lovely and moisturizing. Not too high cover too! More of a medium :)
Strange is an African American woman whose always worn makeup and find absolutely nothing new to it all. Who really enjoys this woman who I’m thinking I absolutely have nothing in common with other than never questioning my purchases nor thinking about how much I paid for them. But she (Michele) is so darn interesting, unique and fun🧐.

I also dislike the LM setting powder. I do, however, love her new pink tinted tone-up powder. It smooths, blurs, and brightness my skin.
The Suqqu foundation is so beautiful. I also liked the Rose Inc. highlighter is pretty (don’t care for their packaging). I think I’m also going to try the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. That’s was a nice shade.

I love the look today, but I always do! Lol I'm enjoying the one and done eye looks and I'm finding if I use a primer for my eyes the eye creams and sticks don't crease.

Elf has a really nice brush for $6 that works great for under the eyes. Don't think patting on LM powder under the eye is a true test of how it works.
That blush is gorgeous !!! The bronzer, (maybe its the lighting) but almost has a greenish tinge on your skin. Since we're similiar in coloring, I think I would avoid. But the blushes - wow!

Think the lipsticks contrasted against the eye colour because I didn’t notice or see oxidation but along with the lip made it more orange looking. It looks nice really fresh

The whole time I was watching you talk about the foundation I was thinking it looked like the Dew Drop foundation which is still one of my favorites. It looked beautiful on you.
The cream eyeshadow looked orangey since you applied it. I was expecting a super soft brown and was disappointed it looked like a melon color once applied on the lid.

The CT eyeshadows looked very dried out in the pot. I do find my old ones have lasted for a long long time. I store them upside down though
My daughter laughed pretty hard at me when it took me way too long to realize I had to twist off that bronzer lid!! 😂
I have the cream blush in heliotrope from Rose, Inc. I really enjoy it. If it makes you feel any better, you are not the first to point out the toilet seat reference.
Do you have any of the suqqu lip glosses? It would be nice to see the colours. They have matte and gloss ones.

Michele, what is your favourite setting powder??? I have so many and I am white and still find translucent powders to have either a yellow-y cast or white cast.
Have you tried the universal (clear) Danessa Myricks balm powder? It is my new HG product but I have oily dehydrated skin
