The interviewer treated Wendy with much respect and kudos to her for taking into account Wendy's fragile condition. However...Wendy we know would have not done the same . Neither would Barbara Walters. To be a great interviewer you have got to be willing to ask those hard questions. Everybody knows when Barbara Walters was in her heydey she would literally make most of the big stars break down and cry. It was even parodied on SNL how ruthless Barbara Walters was to the guests. The gal never mentioned that Wendy swore up and down that she was married. What happened to that? "I'm married and I don't care who knows it." Perhaps the interviewer was just happy to have Wendy any way she can get her but as a viewer it seems like a form of gaslighting when those obvious questions are not addressed. Guess it is what it is. Perhaps when Wendy gets her podcast when can get the full story.

Wendy using the Hunter name? Seriously? People have their conspiracy theories but the "real" Wendy would never put that low life's name in her mouth let alone use his name. Wendy barely acknowledges that first husband's existence in the world. Sorry to add to the conspiracy theories but when I hear Wendy drag Kevin Hunter the way he needs to be dragged then I'll know for sure she is back.

When that sister got up and poured into Wendy's spirit, she also poured into mine and I just broke down crying.. It touched me so deeply.. Wendy is so used to arguing with ppl and defending herself or being catty, she almost didnt know how to receive so much love... I think we MUST continue from a distance to circle Wendy with love understnding and support. She's in a place rightnow in her life whereas there are less distractions and she will hear us and recieve it well... It's gonna soften her and help her to realize humble and humility suits her well at this point in her life.. She doesn't have to fight anyone anymore... It's pure love from this point forward.. Great job interviewing her. This ws really good

You said it perfectly!! And i felt the same way when that lady shared that beautiful sentiment! She don't gotta fight NO ONE any damn more. Plus, we all know shes had to fight tooth and nail to get every damn thing shes ever earned in her career. And SHE did that. And everyone needs support and love, but SHE deserves every bit of the credit.
And I think part of her is still definitely in fight mode, like you said. Partially because its so deeply ingrained, and partially because of the fights shes still currently battling. With her health, her ex, the tabloids and nay-sayers who don't want to acknowledge that this woman absolutely does deserve her flowers and then some. But again, as you mentioned, WE, the fans, can actually help with that. She can relax a little now and show that self proclaimed softer side more. And she can rest assured knowing that her supporters are going to ride for her anyways because she IS accepted for who she is, faults and all. (because we all got faults, am i rite?) And at least she has the ball's to be herself, unapologetically. And that in itself is something to be celebrated. There are verrry few people in radio,TV etc. that can honestly say that. But shes one of them. As that lady proclaimed, many are called and few are chosen. And #WeChooseWendy 💜
