What a beautiful song. What is your prayer? Mine is - Do not live life as a prisnoer of the past and the slave of the future. Have the courage to let the future be, the wisdom to let the past go. Savor the here and now, the only thing that is sure. Live it fully and gracefully.
💕 Hier das Original 💕 Sometimes we stumble Sometimes we even fall And we can't find a friend Can't comprehend it all And we are lost With nothing to hold on to When we can't find the answer Sometimes a prayer will do 💕 And though we wonder Uncertain if we will get through To face the future Sometimes a prayer will do 💕 Sometimes we reach For what's not really there Sometimes we lose our grip Come tumbling through midair And we are searching For something to hold on to When we can't find the answer Sometimes a prayer will do 💕 And though we wonder Uncertain if we will get through To face the future Sometimes a prayer will do 💕 Then we are stronger Somehow we know we will get through To face the future Sometimes a prayer will do 💕 Yeah, we are stronger Somehow we know we will get through To face the future Sometimes a prayer will do 💕 Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
Was looking to buy this on Amazon to keep it on my MP3 player. Whilst I have lost my faith currently this is an amazing rendition - where is it available?
animatomusicforyou which venue and orchestra is this. Too beautiful. And right at the end of this clip there is another singer with Tracey. What did they sing together. Tried to search but to no avail.
Are you the choir singer with darker blond hair and the red scarf just laying across your right shoulder and visible behind Miss Campbell's left shoulder? I just can't get over the warmth and authentic emotion in Tracey's voice. But I also was moved by the apparent joy you have in your critical support role in this performance, of how ready you were throughout for your entries and your phrase endings, the lilts in your face and shoulders as you responded to the message in the song. Several years ago, after returning from a solo singing tour for worship in the cathedrals of Western Ireland, I suffered a bi-pulmonary lung embolism, blood clots on both blood vessels leading into my lungs. I survived but was still trying to regain my strength when I was struck with Covid pneumonia and clotting in my lungs. On Christmas Day (2020), after weeks in the Covid ICU, my condition suddenly went from guarded to critical. The medical team was at their wits end trying to stop a dramatic decline in my vital signs and precipitous drop in my blood oxygen levels despite giving me the maximum setting of warm high pressure air; organs, particularly my kidney's were being damaged. In immediate preparation to give me a tracheotomy and put me on a ventilator (which some 80% of folks in my situation cannot be weaned back off), I was asked if I had a living will. I had watched the patients in rooms to my left and right carried out in gurneys after they had passed just days before. As I looked at the wall clock, I saw in its orb the faces of my grandchildren, each one in turn, opening presents but full of sadness Grandpa wasn't there. I felt lonely, fearful, full of "woes me". Then I looked around and saw two doctors and three or four nurses who also weren't with their families on Christmas Day..because they were desperately working to save me. Suddenly, the "woes me" turned to "blessed me". My gratitude for all that God has given me, recognition that there were literally hundreds of people praying for me, caused a profound change in me, new life if you will. Vital signs returned to normal, my oxygen climbed, the crisis was over. Some 5 minutes later, my pulmonologist, still in her protective pressure suit and helmet put her face through the privacy curtain and said earnestly, emotionally, "Kim, just so you know, you are our Christmas Miracle." Though I was expected to remain hospitalized for another several weeks, by the next morning my need for supplemental oxygen was down to just 3% and I was home with my family two days later. Just had my 120-day imaging, blood panel, and actual walking stress test: there is no sign of anything in my lungs, even the extensive scarring that existed from three years ago. Sometime a prayer will do. Now that I am retired professionally, I travel far and wide to other countries and more than two thirds of these United States donating songs to churches and charities. Without ever hearing your voice, I would live to duet with you and feel your spirit. You can connect with me via "Friending" me in Facebook. - Kim Cooney, Int'l. Hier das Original 💕
Sometimes we stumble
Sometimes we even fall
And we can't find a friend
Can't comprehend it all
And we are lost
With nothing to hold on to
When we can't find the answer
Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
And though we wonder
Uncertain if we will get through
To face the future
Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
Sometimes we reach
For what's not really there
Sometimes we lose our grip
Come tumbling through midair
And we are searching
For something to hold on to
When we can't find the answer
Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
And though we wonder
Uncertain if we will get through
To face the future
Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
Then we are stronger
Somehow we know we will get through
To face the future
Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
Yeah, we are stronger
Somehow we know we will get through
To face the future
Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
Sometimes a prayer will do 💕
