Don't worry about the Kylie Sweater. The armholes will work out fine because the seams don' t sit on top of the shoulders but actually on the back. So you get more length from knitting the front panels. I have almost the same measurements as you and also knit a size 1 and all fits perfectly.

32:42 You lengthen the back as you like the depth of. Put a marker where the pattern says you to stop. And then for the front part you lengthen the same amount (at the part where there is stockinette). I also always cast-on more sts for the underarns here because it is cable/lace might be more difficult tho. This is a drop shoulder though. It sits quite lower it might fit you anyway. You can also ask her about the armhole circumference. Don't giveup on this it looks really beautiful. I always struggle with the armholes because my arms are way bigger than my chest and sometimes they fit the 3xl measurements when I knit l or xl even m sizes. This method alway works for me. I hope it helps you too.

Thank you so much 😊 That’s super helpful. I will definitely try that.

Nice summer knits you have. i´m also interested to knit Kylie but now there are just too many projects on my needles. It is a drop shoulder construction so the sleeves don´t start on the top of the shoulder - at least if there is some ease.
About making a turn to wrong direction on a cable: good news is that you don´t need to rip off the whole piece but you can rip off just the cable that has an error. I did that last winter as I realized that one cable had turned the wrong direction and I had already bound off the hem. I took back the binding off to that cable and ripped off only those cable stiches. Then I just knitted that cable again. It took about an hour - but that was way less it would have taken to knit the body again from above armpit. And one more important thing, you should wetblock the piece before you measure the gauge and I´m sure you were going to do that and are propably past that anyway when I´m writing this. It will be interesting to see how your projects develop.

True, there are just too many nice things, and not enough time. I have tried that before, and yes it works, but because I wasn’t very far along it felt like less work to rip back the whole left front. I could be wrong, of course ☺️ After all the setbacks I am now on the right course 😅

I'm also making the Lauder V neck cardigan. I have gone up a needle size and pattern size even though I got guage using Drops Daisy.

It’s such a gorgeous design. Maybe a bigger needle size will do the trick. I did feel like the needles were small for the yarn #goingagainstmygut

I knitted the Kylie sweater and also thought the armhole was to small. I just made one more repeat of the cable pattern on the back and the front.

Yes, it’s leaning towards that being the solution. Thanks!

I have found myself with a bit more free time lately ☺️, and I use most of it for knitting. I do believe I knit rather fast as well. I am happy to hear that 😊 Welcome 🤗

I have the same problem with plant fibers. If you solve the mystery please let me know

It's so funny, I was sitting with the exact same thoughts about the Kylie a few days ago. I'm making the smallest size, my bust is 96 cm. I've knitted one more repeat on both back and front before joining, which seems to have worked. Fits perfectly now, but I'm mid blocking it to check for sure. BTW, you know your first join the two fonts and first after that join with the back? I didn't see that first and then the arm hole was even smaller but part of it got solved once I realized the front was longer than I thought.

Hahaha, yeah I think the best solution is to add more repeats. I did not know that. I’m one of those people who don’t read ahead in a pattern ☺️ I enjoy the adventure too much 😂

@@Knitinthecity-qm1br ok, then I won't spoil anymore for you. 🤣 I had also missed it and first thought, no way an arm will ever fit in there but it's actually quite a long piece still. And with the extra repeat because my row gauge is slightly off and I have big arms, it was perfect before blocking. Looking forward to see how it is after blocking tomorrow. 🙂
