When I was 30, I was convinced if there was a God, He didn't care about me. However, I was at the end of my rope, and screamed out into the void for help...and Jesus came. Just the way scripture explains He would. My life has not been the same since that experience. Understanding scripture, and Jesus message is more precious than anything.
