I had one of my favorite days ever on Bachelor. Snow was a bit mushy and visibility low but we skied tree laps for miles, never the same line. I dream of getting back there on a bluebird day like this. Thx for sharing.
Not the “sickest” nor “gnarliest” but Bach has some of the most fun variations of terrain anywhere. Nice to see Summit chair open. Fun to ride along as always!
awesome video. went out to bach for my first west coast ski 2/24-2/26. First day was a blue bird day so we did the summit twice, not nearly as confident as this though. Love it!
It does, and has Ben said before it’s a blessing and curse for the mountain, it whips up the coolest, terrain and features, but also can blow 100 mile an hour mid mountain on the regular definitely creates a challenging environment for lift ops, and makes for Skiing once it’s over.
Love the vid as always Sage! Loved the absolute nuking from Andrew, must have been a great time to follow! I've always wondered, what made you move to Bend?
He rips! and is always fun to chase around. Bend was the perfect happy medium of locations for what worked best for my family and I. Lifestyle, recreation, and living balance was the perfect mix for me.
Very nice video, but a little too short for me, I like it when it lasts 10 minutes. Plus it looks like there are lots of possibilities for making pretty jumps.
Hey Sage, what length bent 110 do you run? I’m going to purchase this model, but I’m on the fence between 180 and 188. I’m 5’10 190lb and try to ski similar to how you are in this video. Thanks brother!
I use the 188. You definitely want to use that as well as I’m a little bit shorter and lighter. it skis a little on the smaller side because of it twin tip nature. I mount mine usually one CM back from recommended just to give the Ski a little bit more tip, it’s super fun and I really enjoy it for the playful kind of days.
I do, they’re very fun skis, and like them for much different reasons the bents are real, playful and Ski great, but on some days I like how the Maverick 115 is so stable and charges so well.
We are doing pretty good I'd say, slow start, and had some ups and downs but there is a ton of snow, and we have had some really good storms and conditions over the last month.
Secondly, do you have any footage of a summit-base run? When i go on ski trips i like to make videos of the trip to the mountain/town, stuff to do in the town, just to have for the future to send people when they ask what the trip was like, if they are thinking of going. My buddies go-pro died the day we did those runs so we didn't get anything before the storm rolled in. If you'd be willing to share footage of one of your longest/scenic runs i would appreciate the heck out of it and obviously credit. Won't get more than a few hundred views at best on my channel though.
This dude is an absolute machine
Oh yes!
The best parts of these videos is how relatable they are. The days cruising your favorite laps at your local hill with the crew are the best.
That’s the truth! 👊👊
'bout time you did one in the hometown! That was a hot lap on summit! Thanks for your content as always!
You bet! fired up for a few more, the season is getting good!

That sounds pretty nice! I know what your talking about, I love the variety up there depending on the weather and snow.

Couldn't agree more! its super fun and playful.

Good timing! Fun up there and extra fun with summit open.
SO technically solid. Fun to watch.
Yes, and Thanks for watching!
Summit powder days are indeed special. Wind does such interesting things to the snow on that mountain.

@@sagePerspective at many places you're skiing a resort. At bachelor you are definitely skiing a mountain.
This looks so much FUN!!!
such a fun place!
Once again, thank you for blessing us with this! So sick!
Will you remind me where you mount your Backland's from true center?
you bet! I mount my backland 117s +3 in front of rec. which I believe is about -3 of true center but not totally sure
@@sagePerspective Thank you Sage!
Love the vids and that you respond to comments!

Filmed Friday, March 23? Pretty sure I saw you two a couple times! 👊
that was a good day!
Great watch!
thanks Boss!
F ya dude! Love bachelor on a sunny day! Sick run !!!!
thanks and yeah the storm days are real, but the sunny days are super fun.

I hear ya! thanks for watching as always, and it kinda just depends on how much footage I get.
The Bach videos are always my favorite...but clearly I'm biased
So fun up there!!
Damn this looked like a good day
was a fun one for sure! and now back to storm riding!!
@@sagePerspective at least you guys are having a little winter out there. It’s been bone dry around these parts.
Total Spammer!! We went there last week for 3 days but not a single chance going to the summit😢Just kidding😂Still love the mountain❤
haha, as I said in the description, its a rare day, showing up for three days and expecting summit is pretty presumptive lol Next time! haha

@@sagePerspective You’re the man! Thank you for the advice, I can’t wait to enjoy this skis….
Nice! Full speed on this one, huh? 😎
Andrew is fast!
are ya liking the new bents as much as the Maverick 115s??
I do, they’re very fun skis, and like them for much different reasons the bents are real, playful and Ski great, but on some days I like how the Maverick 115 is so stable and charges so well.
This guy just glides on snow.
Truth!
What camera are you using? Love your channel!
Thanks! I use a DJI osmo Action 4 and a GoPro 12,
Wow,there are new season bent skis.
Fresh 110’s!
@@sagePerspective in your recent videos were those the new maverick 115?
Bachelor struggling like the PNW mountains or are you guys doing good?

I don’t really have any but there are some very scenic runs!
Effortlessly rippin' at Mach 2 on shitty Bachelor snow is impressive. That was sick.
I could barely keep up!
So many natty hits err where
Its endless up there!
