The best way to find iron in minecraft is shipwrecks! On ep 48 of the aphmau crew smp we explore shipwrecks to help me with my project! PLUS we finished the walls of our secret base. all these projects are coming along so nicely, i really love getting to explore the server and play Minecraft with my friends from aphmau. but since no one was online i decided to adventure off and see if i could find any shipwrecks that would lead me to buried treasure! i hope you like this video and let me know what else you would like to see the aphmau crew do in Minecraft!

You know, if you go on a hunt for a mineshaft or two. You might come across a good load of iron. Because, don't mineshaft chests have a chance of carrying a good amount of iron in them?
And, don't ruined nether portal chests, as well as village chests, have a chance at having iron in them?
