I listened to the original artist and she did it proud. She is such a performer ,I love how she doesn't copy cat her songs she always changes either the music or her vocal delivery makes each performance unique that's what makes going see an artist live.

I love how she gets a little sassy and says to the audience to live with it, so cute and sassy. and I know she can play the guitar but chooses to play something else to change it up and make it hers. I would love to see her do this in church, maybe some other gospels as well.

I thought it was the finest bit of acting in the whole the movie, when Jodie Foster delivered that line. She was looking at nothing but a camera lens, but you could really believe she was actually seeing something beyond the ability of mere words to describe.
Oh, and yeah, that sentiment of poetry applied to Grace's performance here. Shows that in song, it isn't just the words that make them poetry, but how they're delivered to the ear.
For me it was periodically questioning the existence of God but after watching the video in my eyes you can never ask the question of existence of God again left me speechless until that Jody foster line popped into my head
