brilliant video my compliments to the person who made it all steam trains look great they were found as rusty remains and bought to life well worth to all the people who bring them back to life for us to see
Max Dickinson Thank you. Yep absolutely all credit to everyone at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and the Ffestiniog railway which provides the narrow gauge engine Britomart on the tunnel special ☺
Max Dickinson Fair enough, the narrow gauge railway did have a hudge part to play in Wales collecting slate from the mountains. Thank you very much, very pleased to know your enjoying the videos so far. Well, there would have been more videos but because of an eye infection had to leave it for few days to rest. I'm planning an outing for Wednesday or Thursday where I'm planning to go to freight hotspot of the West Coast Mainline, Tamworth ☺
Thank you Trevor, it was an epic day and which of one that was full of surprises. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is the most scenic and greatest there is. The special event meant there was steam aowciaks between Battersby and Whitby which seemed to be much quicker compared to the local sprinter units on the line ☺
Thank you William, a well deserved day along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has to be one of the very best preserved railways there is. Cannot believe what used to belong to the North Eastern Railway linking between Whitby and London via Pickering. You can see the evidence where the trains used to continue south of Pickering for London and the ECML. Not only that, Gothland is also home to the brilliant drama TV series, Heartbeat all set in the 1960's. Its my all time favorite TV program and can't get enough of the actors who was there, the cars, bikes, trucks and even the trains played their part as well during several episodes and series. Have to be honest, Heartbeat couldn't have been filmed in a better location no more than Gothland. I often drive through Gothland to see what is left from Heartbeat and how it is kept in its original ways. It's amazing the Yorkshire Moors is and a great place to get away from the stress of it all from the good and bad, the North Yorkshire Moors has it all :-)

Did all the in the 90s with the steam galas but just do the Diesel ones now with one of my sons....''
1990's must have been awesome for galas. Would you say there is a difference between the galas from the 90's to today's era?
No...Always used the home engines and maybe brought 3 or 4 in from other preserved Railways......''
Cool still the same as always ☺
Nice video
