Just a small thing, I never put all clothes in one and all shoes in another piece of luggage, you need to mix it up just incase the airline misplaces one of you suitcases. x

Melissa i have one question. In season 1 during the new ep, maddie had 2 solos entered in the competition which had christi very mad. You claimed to said that she does 2 solos every competition for the past 2 years. how did that work since the show only showed maddie doing 1 solos each competition.-idally (id- ah- lee)
she actually did have 2 at all of the show competitions prior to that episode, they just weren’t shown on the the show

I have a question!! Sometimes on the show you hear a competition announcer say “now skipping ahead in the program to…”. Did the girls sometimes perform out of order from the competition schedule in order to accommodate filming? Thank you for doing these Q&As!
Yes, they did but it actually happens a lot at competitions because sometimes studios have multiple dances in a row and they need to change costumes

my mum knows exactly what gymnastics tricks I’ve retained
/ how I’ve regressed in the decade since quitting because I turn leap handstand walkover and flip so often in the house.
That makes me think that neither of them dance around the house anymore or do bits of their routines etc ☹️☹️

My kids are now adults and do not dance around or do tricks around the house. It’s not sad that I don’t know that they can do, they just grew up and moved into their own houses
@@MelissaGisoni13 misunderstanding !!! That was not intended as a criticism at all (especially not towards you), sorry if it came off that way. FOR CLARIFICATION: It made me sad in the sense that it just hit a nerve for me having watched your two (both of whom I completely adore) back then all the ‘bad vibe’ experiences they went through surrounding dance that would naturally deter anyone from just dancing carelessly around the house, considering all of the negative connotations that ‘dance’ might have now (I can only imagine).
I was DEFINITELY not saying that it’s “sad” that you aren’t aware - that would be a very rude and unfounded comment to make
And for the record -
Im actually a few years older than both of your girls and also have moved out, etc but your video reminds me how every time I come home I’m doing handstands turns etc around the house as though I was a kid again, and your video made me realise how a lot of those ‘kid’ moments were very different for Maddie and Kenz - that’s the main thing I meant here.
I truly love you guys - I admire your own generosity and inherent selflessness of everyone else coming before yourself; Kenzie makes me smile so hard every time I watch her content (on UA-cam now or watching old episodes with her huge brown eyes 🥺) and she’s the kind of person who would have been student rep for her year group at high school doing every single co curricular under the sun and knowing every single in her grade personally; and Maddie for being just so different from the rest of us - a wise old sole with a sharp left brain.
You guys mean the world to me, I would never criticise like that Xx
I was so surprised that the show last that long. I would use my mouth alot to Abby she really mistreated Nia and Chloe alot. Sometimes when i watch the show i cry alot because all the mistreated the girls got. I didn't want to cry on my pillow. Ha ha.

They don’t want to relive any of that or be reminded of the most stressful and traumatising times in their lives. They’re prioritising their mental health and I think it’s admirable. They went through so much on the show, both Maddie and Kenzie have recently talked about how much it’s affected both of them and how they’re only just coming to terms with everything. The reunion is through lifetime and I think it’s very strange that any of them want to work with that network again after everything they put them through and everything the girls have said. I wouldn’t want to relive certain parts of my life, especially not on camera, and they’re allowed to say no just as much as anyone else. So many of the fans seem to think these girls owe us something, and when they don’t oblige they apparently think they’re “too good” which sounds absolutely ridiculous. They don’t owe us ANYTHING.
My kids aren’t too good to do the reunion. They just didn’t want to do it. Please be nice
@@MelissaGisoni13 Some people will never be able to open their eyes and see what the show did to Maddie and Kenzie. People assume that because they were the favourites they were treated better whilst forgetting that Maddie in particular had the most amount of pressure every week and was terrified of disappointing Abby, and Kenzie was constantly being compared to her sister. They were abused in the most invisible way possible and the people who can’t see this are CHOOSING not to. The entire cast went through hell but I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Maddie, and Kenzie of course. I wish people could see through all the bs.
