Interesting. Thank you. I heard about the problems with Othuums and Titans from other casters as well, but your recommendation against Bricks and Ythothas (or how they are spelled) astonished me, as I always had the impression that those are quite strong and attractive units.
Quinntus I think bricks lose quite often to microed titans. and the ythotha has high DPS and good range, it is pretty good but it's death weapon usually hurts you more than the opponent and sacus are better
A beginner question! The Percival has received a lot more praise in the FAF community than the Titan, but it has now been a few years of patches. In the unitDB Titan's now have a dps-mass ration of 0,3125 and a hp-mass ratio of 6,875 (shield incl.), while the Percival has a dps-mass ratio of 0,26 and hp-mass ratio of 5,6. Of course there are other factors like focused vs distributed hp, and range vs speed - but is the Titan still a unit to avoid mass producing? Regardless, thanks a lot for these tutorials - they have been outstanding ^^
How do you instakill your units? When i press ctrl + k i have to wait 5 seconds. Can i change the timer somewhere in the options? Or i have to download some mod?
i actually do think the stealth is imprortant, As you point out, it adds ghost hp whenever your units are firing but the enemies units are not (if you have more range). But if you have less range, and your enemy can't see your units to shoot at them, doesn't that add a fictional hp advantage aswell?
If your units have short range, you're going to be moving forward into range, so you won't be getting the benefit for as long as if you were willing to wait and fight outside of vision range.
