Thank you for sharing. I love how you break the scene down and your colors as well. I also love how you bring us into where you are going to paint, I feel like I’m there watching you paint with the sights and sounds.
Dear Jon, I have something to comment on. Colors are your mortal enemy because, I see, they eat away at your skin! Don't suffer and wear gloves... Stop painting with oil paints. Draw with a pencil!
Lol - thank you for your concern Tomislav - I do a lot of drawing with pencil and charcoal as well. But I love oil paint. I wear gloves partly to prevent mess and also to prevent developing a reaction
Hi Jon, I love your art and your videos. Your area is so scenic, you're very lucky to be surrounded with so much subject material. You've mentioned that we followers are welcome to use any of your footage for subject material and I plan to do just that. I will honor your request to post a photo of our results however, I'm not certain where you'd like us to post to, please advise. Keep painting my friend and making vids, they and you are awesome!
Thank you so much Bronco! I really appreciate your feedback. Please post to Instagram or Facebook - my tags are in the video description- I look forward to seeing what you make!
@@JonBradhamArtist - I will post to Facebook and leave a friend request - if you don't mind (I'm semi-sane and mostly housebroken). I started drawing out a small painting using a screen shot from your "Shadow Lake" video. I should finish it today or tomorrow if I can find enough time, or the next day, I always have them. I think I use your method of doing the Notan sketch, turp wash and premixing the colors as a tribute to your hard work putting out all those videos. I was going to do a UA-cam vlog starting last October but I can't find the time to learn it all. My goal was to build a camper van (I did) then travel around the country painting the scenes and sharing my adventures. I got sorta started bit to make a long story less long, I bit off more than I could chew. I really admire how you've followed your dream and put in the work. Thumbs up BRO!

Thank you Glenda! I’m not a great video editor so I’m glad you can get past the imperfections and enjoy the experience with me
Thanks for the video. I always enjoy watching your painting process. Simple yet highly effective. Looking forward to part II.
