Oh my goodness Clifford.. This is too good! LOL "A wonderful fool... A Wonderfool... You are too much. My mother used to say the same things to me... "I'll give you something to cry about." Eeeiii this video is too much-oooo!
My mum always used to ask me why I am crying when she just slap me on the face then she would say if you don't stop crying right now you will see what's coming and I'm just like 😐😢😪
+Odelis larbi And the. "B is a failing " statement 😂😭and good u got an A+ now get an A++ and im like mommy daddy that's not possible and they go make it possible 💙💙💯🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭but u just gotta love them 💙
omg! I can relate to everything! haha. I'm Nigerian born and raised there came to the US at 11. middle school wanted to do all the things kids my age did back then like sleep over go to the mall go to birthday parties ect. I wasn't allowed to it made me really sad and depressed. I'm 22 now graduated from college working still living with my parents and I'm miserable as hell I'm socially awkward can't relate well with people don't know how to respond to things no experience in many common sense stuff. I want to move out but it's always we did this and that for you and this is how you repay us. I can't even be home late like 9 or after dark mind you I'm 22. can't sleep at a friends place. can't date non Nigerian (currently dating a Chinese American cuz idgaf anymore) they yell at me say mean stuff try to guilt me but nope not breaking up with him it's almost 4 months now. he makes me happy I deserve it
“If you don’t stop crying, I will give you something to cry about.” That was and still is my parents favorite statement. Even though They’re grandparents now they still beat their grandkids.
as an Igbo I love the comedy of my peoples not just Ghana and Nigeria I love all humour from Africa thank you all from there you make a day brighter I approve of this
whenever my mom used to say "if you dont stop crying i will give you something to cry about" i would instantly try my best to stop crying even though it didnt make sense
Oh my God, for me this was the BEST video yet!!!! African American parents say the SAME THING after they whip our butts, "What are u crying for? If u don't stop it now I will give u something to cry about!!!" Only in the Motherland!!!
im not Africa but at the end when your dad said why r u crying and if u don't stop ill give u something to cry for that's universal all black parents say that.
I can relate because my mom used to say:" Swallow your tears before l give you something to really cry about". I'm from the Caribbean and parents there act exactly like Clifford's dad.
My Name is Bryan odisi i am an african Kid i live in Austria Vienna i watch your Videos and they inspire me, You Act just like My mum And My dad i like it because they make me live a responsible life
i love your video Clifford please make video about how African parents say that they never made mistakes when they were children. they never disobeyed they parents. I think that will be good too
Same with my mother when I was in my teenager years, when she slap me and i cried. And she say wait wait I heard like ur crying, if u don't stop crying, I will slap u now. Hahahha, like she didn't slap. And say swallow it before i slap u again, and i stand silent with eyes full of waters, my heart up and down😂😂😂😂 and when she was learning me how to cook and when i asker her if I can put sugar for the vegetable and she say yes do it, and when I about to put the sugar, ooh my goodness, then I heard she scream very loud, if u do it I will slap u with the spoon. I was like huh. She used to learn me to put sugar for vegetables when she start learn me to cook, thus I thought for every vegetables I must put sugar. But she also didn't say no for this one not, not for every vegetables. I was very very confused when I learned to cook, I thought in myself when I grew up I will never cook, I will buy food, it is so heavy to cook, it was take me hours to finish cooking and not that my food tasted sweet like my mother. But through the years it comes very easy for me to cook, some of the food I do better then her now. Only the food from the village she do better then me. She didn't learn me all of them.
I am not African but my father was very strict about grades. However he would force me to do a lot of hard labor stating, "if you don't study this is what your life will be like for the rest of your life." Like your dad he would dish out praises to his friends and our relatives, but once they're not around the insults start. Great video.
Similar to the Jamaican parent. They beating you and telling you to shut up at the same time and telling you " if you dont shut up they will give you something to cry for..😂😄😁😆😅🤣
Looool OMG this was my dad when me and my sisters were younger!!!! He would say "ok" and then he would say that he never said "yes" loool and then the drama would start! Excellent video loool all my childhood in this video loool.

My mom ain't African but she still says if you don't stop crying I'll give you something to cry about
From a Caribbean background I can relate, the hit in the face then having the cheek to ask why you crying .
Do an episode where you're not allowed to go to a party so you throw one at your house while your dad is at work.
that can never happen in an African house
I Still Haven't Finished Those Errands if you did that in African house... not only will you die but everyone will die
HA! So funny that you think he could get away with that
Never will this happen !!!
how many of us in here can relate to the last one?

Hi Cliff, good one there. this takes me back to those days.
Honestly, Clifford, I'd rather have that than have a parent who talks shit about me to others and belittles me.
