Great video. For once there is someone who clearly states that SIPOC has drawbacks. More importantly you emphasized that SIPOC is a starting point for a Value stream Mapping activity. Unfortunatelly you didn't spend enough time on COPIS which I believe is interesting to exeplore.
Hi. SIPOC and COPIS is the same. In first you start filling from suppliers to customers. In second starting with customers and backwards to suppliers. I prefer COPIS. It is easier because you know customers of the failing process. Thus it is more logical. Does this helped?
