- This video uses a teaching from the Bhagavad Gita on Karma, to DEBUNK the popular notion that EVERY person suffering from cancer or from some other deadly disease, is necessarily doing so because of bad karma done in past lives.
Diseases, as this video highlights have many causes, and past bad karma is only ONE of them. Furthermore as the Bhagavad Gita tells us, it is not possible for an ordinary person to pinpoint and know for sure, whether past bad karma is the cause behind their's or somebody else's suffering. For this reason we must not resort to fatalism, and become cold-hearted and cruel to the sufferings of others, instead we must always keep our compassion and empathy alive.

And any bad incident happened in our life, we always blame our past Karma as we heard the sentence written in Gita.. without reading it directly from the Book.
The way my mom suffered and died due to a terminal cancer nd d way our family struggled...looked like karma only...maybe we did sins in previous birth..
Atleast there should be a way to know what karma caused it, I will go mad thinking about why my father got cancer and our family is suffering.

Only if one is superstitious. Most people act as though they are shocked when they receive a cancer diagnosis. Personally, it was a relief, after telling my doctor that I felt really ill and that my body did not feel right, for the last three years. Finally, instead of just staring at me, he actually sent me to a specialist.

But what about being the victim of other people's ignorance/malice? Is that because of our own bad karma too? So indirectly isn't it because of our own karma?

in chapter 15 verse 15 of bhagvad geeta shri Krishna (God himself) is declaring that through Vedas you are only knowing me ....and I'm vedanta myself....
Vedanta=upanishad (concluding part of Vedas).Gita is not a separate scripture but
It is summary or gist of all Vedas and upanishads.
It may be Karma or any non Karmic cause cannot justify the good get the sufferings while some bad people who do all types of wrongdoings get happiness and love long life and how can you justify god's or nava graha (9 planet's) action of giving bad things to good and good things to bad and how can you justify innocent becoming victim because of the deeds of bad and greedy rich? What wrong that innocent did but he face difficulty while that bad rich gets all wealth and happiness even some good people are driven or induced to do bad things inevitably because of the bad or traumatic situation given by God and ironically the same God punishes him for that but lets bad people of the hooks who does crime and bad things purposefully and gives him all wealth and happiness... isn't this unfair? Does God gives good things to bad people because they pour money and jwells and do service to God to get excuse for their crimes..be it any god of any religion they are only in support for the bad not the good ones...law of Dharma and karma are all flawed and is only favouring the bad rich ones

not at all. A person does not get abused in this life because they did something bad in their past life. Child abuse happens due to perversion of mind of abuser. The victim is innocent.
@@Spiritualbee thank you so much.. So many girls , womens are gone through child abuse but they can't speak bcos of socity .. And some girls developed mental illness due to child abuse and toxic and neglected parenting and neglected childhood...
