Max Yollando, a kung fu enthusiast from Côte d'Ivoire, has spent years training at the Shaolin Temple. Now it's time for him to give something back - by bringing young students from Africa to Songshan Mountain in Henan Province, the birthplace of kung fu, for a global kung fu event. But this is a kung fu convention with a difference: rather than just being about showcasing the fighting skills of the participants, equal weight is given to embracing the cultural significance of kung fu and understanding the deeper values that connect people wherever they come from.

Great job Africa!!!! Much love from Asia.
People can learn a lot from kung Fu, it’s a discipline of the mind.
it's why u barely see any Asians going into stores and taking what they want in the U S .
Wonderful 😊
WOW!!! Gives me goosebumps ❤
Respect
This is a beautiful story! I look forward when some of these young students grow up and decide to open up their training centres. I wish I was part of this community. Getting in shape with the rowing machine and free weight is boring... 💡
They have cultural temple in several country, you can check maybe there is one in your area... If not, you can also practice online... You can get free training for UA-cam videos by Shaolin master/teacher or get their online program in their website...
Gave me goosebumps. I like the positivity.
💯💯💯💯% perfect 👌👌👌
Damn, they're good
How can you tell?
Agree and they have good aura.
The world is shrinking and for the better.
Kung Fu isn't only an art or a culture but also a way of life.
Watching and smiling 😁 all the way from Nigeria
China constantly hosting events that bring people of the world together. Bravo to Africans!
Yes "bringing people together". Like people from the Chinese coast guard and philipine fishermen, in philipine sea.

my nigga just about to turn the shaolin world here
But it involves bidhism.
all forms of martial arts originated in africa, the practice and practitioners moved from african to india and to middle east and to china to phillipines and to korea to japan
Africa has no copyright on Martial Arts.
Countries developed their own way of physical personal defense fighting styles. That's like saying, "all cooking and recepies come from Africa".
Just because the first monkey or homo sapiens came from Africa, doesn't mean Africa has anything to do with other cultures or nations.
If you want to be proude of a Martial Art, then be proude of Boxing, Capoeira or Krav Maga.
- Boxing >> Oldest fighting style in Egypt.
- Capoeira >> origin in Brasil, by AFRICAN slaves.
- Krav Maga >> Fighting style of Egyptian who fled Egypt.
@@close_all_tabs like I said it originated in Africa even spices from Africa to India to China, this education was told to me by many of my African and Indian friends in science classes in college, take whatever you will im just saying it originated in Africa just like the 1st hospital, pharmacies, pharmacist and allopathic medicines originated from there this was a class we had to take to enter the health field
Martial arts developed independently in different countries. It has no origin.
@@villiamfangy6205 you need to study etymology of disease, in that course it is plausible that the first disease originated in Africa along with many wars and inventions and within those wars, before any civilization was born, tribal groups already formed which included martial arts and the journey outward, there have been traces of homo erectus influences from Africa and out. All this included spices but if you want to date all the way back we all have a sub haploid group of DNA blue print that suggests we came from our earliest ancestors, it's all in national geographic magazines which I have read over 30 years something you should have done
@@jorad4887 Ok we all came from africa, so what?
And recommend Taoism to them, something refreshing. Taosim has many variety and types of spiritual gods and hellish devils and ghosts too.
Yea? And what of the African fighting styles in our villages done in our native clothing and languages? What of promoting our own African culture with Laamb, Dambe, Gidibo, Ngolo, Kandeka & stick fighting the way the chinese have with wu shu and kung fu !!???
Brother we have our own. You do not have to become pseudo-chinese to earn respect.
Cultural appropiation?
U know what's weird only black or white people would say that. Asians and Mexicans support other cultures when they embrace theirs. Only woke people get butthurt
Kung fu is originally indian martial arts
Everything is from Bodhidharma Tamil Kanchipuram Pallava Dynasty
Not everything 😊
