Hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Baltimore, Les Greene was destined for a life steeped in rhythm and melody. From a young age, he was drawn to the soulful sounds that permeated the streets of his hometown - the smooth jazz, the funky grooves, the raw emotion of blues. Greene immersed himself in the rich musical heritage of his city, honing his craft and developing his own unique voice as a musician.
A prominent force in the Key West musical community, Les has been a fixture throughout his tenure in the Southernmost City. From a great showing on the widely known, American Idol, to his voice and singing work on the critically acclaimed Elvis movie last year, It's always a sight to behold when he practically shuts down the street with his loyal fans for an impromptu show at the word famous, Green Parrot. We are thrilled Les and the Swayzees were gracious enough to share their musical talents in our soundstage this go around.
Rock in the Shop is a live recording session filmed in the Lost Boy Creations surf shop in Key West, FL. Playing host to an eclectic blend of musicians who find their way to the "Southernmost City," our intimate setting is the perfect place to find music from up and comers to touring veteran songwriters and everything in between.
