  • If Kim Lien village (Sen village) - President Ho Chi Minh's paternal hometown, is the place where his father - Mr. Vice Chairman Nguyen Sinh Sac returned to honor his ancestors, then Hoang Tru village, ie Chua village, his mother's hometown is where Uncle Ho cried and was born...
Hoang Tru village is about 2km from Kim Lien village, in the same Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan district, Nghe An province), about 15km from Vinh city. This place has a cluster of Hoang Tru relics with an area of 3,500m2, including: The house of Hoang Duong - Uncle Ho's grandfather, the branch church of the Hoang Xuan family, the house of Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac and Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - relatives Uncle Ho was born.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year in 1878, Hoang Duong, on his way to wish Tet, met a boy sitting on the back of a buffalo engrossed in reading a book. That boy's name is Nguyen Sinh Sac, which was orphaned by both parents at the age of 4. Feeling sympathy for the situation and respecting the virtue of studiousness, Hoang Duong asked for permission from the Nguyen Sinh family to bring Nguyen Sinh Sac to raise, feed and study. At that time, Nguyen Sinh Sac turned 15 years old. Under the tutelage of Mr. Hoang Duong, Nguyen Sinh Sac learned more and more intelligently, famous throughout the region. When Nguyen Sinh Sac turned 18 years old, the two grandparents chose him as the son-in-law for their first daughter, Hoang Thi Loan.
In 1883, the two got married and lived separately in a newly built 3-room small house. The house is a place to witness the student Nguyen Sinh Sac plying the light of books, witnessing the diligence and faithfulness of the wife and the birth of children. At the Perfume exam in the year of the Horse in 1894, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac passed a bachelor's degree in Nghe An. In 1895, he went to Hue to study and took his wife and children with him.
After giving birth to her fourth child (1900), Ms. Hoang Thi Loan died in Hue at the age of 33 (February 1901). Father and son Nguyen Sinh Sac sadly left the imperial capital to return to Hoang Tru village to live. At the Tan Suu Faculty Exam (1901), Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac went back to Hue to take the exam and passed the Vice Board, and was given a sign by King Thanh Thai: "The gift of Ninh Gia" (The king's grace for a good family). According to tradition, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac and his children said goodbye to Hoang Tru village and returned to their homeland - Kim Lien village to pay homage to the ancestors.
Hoang Tru relic area with a small three-room house is the place where President Ho Chi Minh cried his birth, where he and his grandparents were attached to the beautiful and difficult childhood years. parents, brothers and sisters. It was also here that he received the love of his relatives, of his homeland, and witnessed the devoted teaching of his grandfather to his father. Those spiritual values are the source of a great aspiration, for the boy Nguyen Sinh Cung to become the great President Ho Chi Minh, the hero of national liberation, the cultural celebrity of Vietnam and the country. mankind.
This place of genius will surely leave an unforgettable feeling in the hearts of tourists when coming here.
In the house in Hoang Tru village, the rows of hibiscus are still green, neatly trimmed as if leading visitors into Uncle's simple home when he was a child, where he lived in the loving arms of his grandparents. , in each mother's gentle lullaby, is a warm loving home.
There are two main houses on the land in the village. The big 5-room house is the house of Uncle Ho's grandparents, that's where Uncle's parents lived until the two became husband and wife and then moved out to live separately.
The second house, not far from Uncle Ho's grandparents' house in the west, is Uncle Ho's parents' house. This house was cut by Mr. Hoang Duong for his son-in-law who is also his student, Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac. That is also the reason why Uncle was born in his mother's hometown, not his hometown.
Also here on a summer morning on May 19, 1890, a boy named Nguyen Sinh Cung was born crying in the loving arms of his grandparents. In the first five years of his childhood, Uncle Ho lived in the loving care of his grandparents and parents, a place where his good personality and noble ideals were incubated.
In the small 3-room house where Uncle Ho's family lives, there is still the hammock of Uncle Ho's mother, the loom on which Uncle Ho's mother still sits to weave cloth for her husband to take care of, a wooden cabinet - a gift from his grandparents. gifts to Uncle Ho's mother when she returned to her husband's house…
