@@woolaminajunkjournals She's not the friend that moved away from you is? Great gifts. Got a pretty vicious rain during the night so no, we still haven't combined a single acre. It preys on the mind and mood, let me tell you. Even swathing is proving to be a challenge because the crop is lodged (flattened by previous rain & wind)---that's farmer talk. H
Yes that crazy quilt piece is frame worthy. So much time and detail just gorgeous 😊❤what is the difference between alpacas and llamas? Box is a adorable. What a happy mail lots of goodness 😊❤❤hugs from little egg harbor, NJ
That piece definitely needs a frame. I have one here that should be just perfect for it. Llamas have big banana shaped ears and are bigger than Alpacas. They have very different fleeces, llamas are usually not quite as soft as the alpacas. Hugs back to you Suzy!
Sandy! You might also enjoy the book, "The Paper Garden", by Molly Peacock, which chronicles one of the first known "altered artists, Mary Delany, 1772. A fascinating view into an amazing creator's life! Love all you UA-cam videos, so creative, and innovative. You always share very interesting stories, and treasures! Thank you! Yes, Daiso is in the International District, right down the hill from me in the Central District of Seattle. {just found out that Daiso is closed permanately}.
That is such a lovely book! I have added it to my wish list- thank you Saralee! Hope all is well with you- do you have fun plans this weekend? Hope you pop into Angela's sale tomorrow- hugs!
Hi everybody. Ok Sandy said I need to put all the answers I sent her in here and what Sandy says goes lol. Ok. So here goes. Bith books are from Phoenix. He sends his love to his favourite auntie.❤ The pink flowers on the purple-ish background were an experiment. It's tissue paper on I think it was muselin, I stuck it down with home made flour paste. I did boil the signature. Not sure if the covers were in too... I thought so but am not sure. With turmeric and cinnamon and tea/coffee and .... something else. I forgot . I have this old aluminum pot I use. It gives it some extra colour too. The really dark page was done in that pot with rusty things and coffee/tea and bunches of other stuff I usually randomly drop in. 😂 I just have fun. Tigger and co are from a memory game, but you could make them stickers. The yellow fluff is not a coffee filter. It is part of a paper garland I took apart. One of those big fluffy ones. The mouse guy is tissues actually. My friend brought them back from Germany. I *think* that was everything. Oh wait. The blue book is from a series printed in 1890's. The thrift store had a whole bunch, but I could only get two, so we each have one now. I didn't get everything into this box lol. I have to send another one. ❤ So glad you like everything ❤ Sending lots of hugs and smooches for the sheep. ❤
Thank you for posting this and I hope Phoenix is not too sad that I messed up on the books? He is such an amazing human being. Have a good day and lots of hugs and thank you's!
