The one year I took my twins to the Character Encounter was amazing. It had been a terrible summer for us that year and this just made their year let alone their Dragon Con.
When you interview the kids instead of asking “who are you?” Say “tell me about your costume” so it doesn’t make them feel like you can’t tell who they’re cosplaying 😁👍
I was Catwoman the very first year and second year they did this. It was so small compared to what it is now. I wish I could still be a part of it but unfortunately it's just become too difficult. I absolutely loved it though and I'm so happy that it's become so successful.

The character encounter is one of our kids favorite! We love it when they get on the kids level and make them feel welcomed instead of scared.
This is so sweet. DragonCon has so many dimensions. One more month!
