I feel like dev is the Lupe fiasco of magic. Dosent get nearly as much appreciation as he deserves but everyone that does know him knows he’s the goat ❤️❤️
Dev, loved the deck profile. I’ve been wondering: If you could make any specific older deck archetype meta relevant in 2024 standard, what would you pick?
G'day Dev , Great deck bud having a blast . I mainly play mono colored decks but this looked like fun and there's a lot of control decks going on so thought i may as well join in. Sad thing was i only needed two wild cards for lands to build lol. Love ur work bud keep on rollin
Omg thank you so much for this deck tech I love it as I’m a huge jeskai control player i used to play torrential gearhulk deck in kaladesh standard way back now
Question. With three copies of Chandra, have you considered the XR sorcery with flashback? It's one of my wincons for Big Red in Pioneer, and it does so much damage out of nowhere.
It would be super helpful if you could provide a link to an exportable decklist. It's pretty cumbersome to have to manually add every card to a new deck on arena.
Howdy Dev! Would you ever consider doing videos about historic standard formats. A small handful of the who's who of old standards for those of us who want to relive old cards but don't want to cube them.
Would love to see you try a standard storm deck, Urabrask + Virtue of Courage can let you basically go off on one turn. It’s janky but I’m always looking for ways to make it better 😅
Hey Dev, love everything you do on the channel! I do have a request though: could you do an intro into the pioneer format? I'd like to get into it but I can't find a good place to learn the meta.
I was just thinking about what I can add to my azorious deck to make it more unbeatable. especially if I run up against a mirror match, being able to slowly burn them down than rely on a whale or chief inspector feels like gasoline
Either Novice Inspector or the one-drop vampire that gives you a Blood token on turn 1, then Gleeful Demolition on turn two, then tap all your creatures and a white mana to convoke Knight Errant out
The cut to the old lightning helix clip was legendary
Love your work Dev! This gets me excited to start stepping back in to the world of standard after a little while away.
RIP TO MY WILDCARDS THIS DECK IS SPICYYYYY
Very cool castlevania background music during the intro, thanks Dev.

This video format is really fresh compared to YT not that you are competing, but doing your own thing is great
19:13 have faith
As much as 'budget' is the reason i came to SBMTG, this was a fun deck to watch
There was counterburn decks in OG Innistrad and Theros too. Maybe not top-tier but I remember them from when I first started playing.
Dev, loved the deck profile. I’ve been wondering: If you could make any specific older deck archetype meta relevant in 2024 standard, what would you pick?
The intro really hyped me up haha
Love the example games alongside the tech vid!
Kev walker never lets me down, love that art!
Be cool to see you do videos on the history of popular old decks.
Loving the return to deck tech's!
Thanks, Dev! and thanks, 1800CallCthulhu! Let's go crazy!
Was trying to improve my Ojutai deck, thanks for the ideas, I was halfway there :D
Subscribed too ;)
Excellent intro, Dev!

I've been messing with this deck a bit for the last couple of months or so, and i like your version. It is pretty deece!
I cooked up a simile of this brew and keep winding up in control mirrors where it ultimately comes down to my opponents decking out lol
As a mono-red fanatic, the mono red player in the first game was ... well, let's just say, we're not sending our best.
Omg thank you so much for this deck tech I love it as I’m a huge jeskai control player i used to play torrential gearhulk deck in kaladesh standard way back now
I liked and subbed btw
Kool build. Lier or Pakpatiq might like this build.
Great content Dev, I'll give this a ride.
Love these deck techs.
Question.

I wanna see the other burn version you talked about

⚡️Love the comeback of Lightning Helix, aggro decks beware!🔥
Howdy Dev!

I second this. At work we often talk about our favorite standards or standards we wish we could have played.

Loved your intro!
Hears term “type 2”, I didn’t need to feel old today
This deck looks sick.
The cat... turned into a cup 😮
Dang it, add that to the pile of options to play at the RCQ, Domain, Boros, Infect, Esper, UW Mid. I can't decide!!!
I member last time counter burn was winning with Ral combo finish and Ionize that deck was cool!
Hey Dev, love everything you do on the channel! I do have a request though: could you do an intro into the pioneer format? I'd like to get into it but I can't find a good place to learn the meta.
Deck tech + gameplay = 😃😍😍
Loove the history lesson, I still have my shard Phoenix set! Quick question after finishing the video: what about on 5 Teferi?
I was just thinking about what I can add to my azorious deck to make it more unbeatable. especially if I run up against a mirror match, being able to slowly burn them down than rely on a whale or chief inspector feels like gasoline
South Park detective sees score… “niiice”
You my spirit animal dev
Wonderful video❤
Love the history lesson haha :)
Could you please provide the decklist, Dev?
Can't wait to burn through some counters
How do you the knight out on turn 2?
Either Novice Inspector or the one-drop vampire that gives you a Blood token on turn 1, then Gleeful Demolition on turn two, then tap all your creatures and a white mana to convoke Knight Errant out
why no link to a decklist?
Nice...now make it Mardu with the new Judith!
i might be blind but is the decklist in text from somewhere i'm not seeing?
Do all of that again! OMG!!! OMG!!!
Like your mom, there's better ways to use those slots.
I see chicken 😻, I stay for the video. We demand more cats in your videos, Dev. I realize it's not totally up to you, but try bribing with treats.
For a poor person what would you replace the $20 cards with?
Deck link or paste plz?
Forget Cena. Roman Reigns is currently unbeatable!
Although I love arcane bombardment and is a great time, too many decks are running get lost and tear like you said which just makes the play so bad
Carfax manor lol 😅😅😅
Memories 😂
NO MORE LIES!!! #ripchester
hey i have that shirt
You’re an American treasure
