This was an awesome game. I loved Garmilator's brute force play there. Keeping the pressure on Yell Head was a great move on his part. In my experience, you should never let Yell Head rest. Bad things happen if you do.
Just so tough to crack. Had a 2v2 earlier this month when Catharsis and I *tried*, survived the whole game, but just couldn't maintain map control and blew our artifact lead.
subparmusician best cure imo vs this kind of rail + carrier power push - strikefighters to stall for time, tech your own carrier power + AC and arty. Might need a few rails in midgame to buy time. We only managed to play once (so Garm will for sure adjust), but vod is up on this channel
Tren must've had quite a bit off a float in the early-midgame. Since he didn't have 3rd base he could've gone rails first foregoing missile ships and just stayed under 2 PCs for a while. Yell was much too long on AS, the best thing about assault ships is really access to interceptor tech (>_>), and of course air is more valuable the sooner it hits. 14:45 issue about siege cruiser tech is it has too little anti-carrier damage, so it needs railguns too. Of course that's a huge issue with bombers too since they have damage reduction vs carriers. But I still haven't gotten assault ships + interceptors + carrier + siege cruisers to work on the level I'd like (compared to the coal equivalent of AAV + air transition into carrier/arty/support cruiser/AAVs for smoke, AC added on vs strikecraft blobs, which is pretty much ultimate tech, however vulnerable against nukes). Gaalsien also has the big disadvantage of not having smoke which couples massively with carrier+arty play, though an advantage in mobility which helps somewhat. But anyway, first and foremost team gaalsien needed to have better trades throughout the game so they could afford to tech power. Now they just managed to -ish hold, but falling behind on tech. Would have been interesting to have seen resources lost.

UGHHHHH that was intense. Yell handled that so well though - Garm is insanely hard to push back once he's that far up in your face.

They should make DLC with new maps for this game - two 3v3 maps is not so much of a choice... i would buy new maps for sure.
