I have cried thrice in my life. Once when I was 7 and I was hit by a school bus and then again, when I heard that Lil' Sebastian had passed. And three, when Parks and Recreation ended.

for the record, because i watched very, very carefully ....... when the announcement was made, "a wrap on Jim O'Hare" (the character who April seemingly loathed on screen for 7 years) Aubrey's water-works got totally juiced up at that moment - i cannot imagine, as an actor, how tough it must have been for Aubrey to portray her character week upon week dishing out the crap against Jim's character - these are all professional actors, but they pulled this off for 7 seasons so well, that their characters are virtually indistinguishable from their real selves

I am going to miss this show so much. This was really the only TV show I ever got this into and fell in love with the characters. It will be missed.
Same here, I hardly ever watch TV and when I do it's very rare. I started watching Parks and Recreation 3 weeks ago on Netflix just randomly and I instantly fell in love. I may not have been a fan as long as other's have, but I am now and I will miss this show forever.

I just watched the finale and my life feels empty now. I went into this show with super low expectations and it absolutely blew me away. I'm gonna miss this show, and I'm gonna miss this cast. What a ride it's been

Same. I don’t watch shows after I’ve watched them once. Not the same experience. I remember that I found it on Netflix after finishing the office and I was kinda unsure if I was going to watch it at first because it was so similar to the office yet so different. But eventually as the seasons went on I got more and more attached and now I love it. Also it had way less cringe than the office. It felt real, not like some fake documentary. 10/10 #betterthantheoffice
Finished Parks and Rec in two weeks, very sad ending. Dissapointed that ratings weren't high throughtout much of the series. It was one if the greatest shows I've seen.

Isn't it beautiful and humble about the fact that Chris Pratt was a big big star in Hollywood with nearly 2 1 billion dollar big franchises films by 2015 and still went back to this wonderful and heartwarming sitcom and finish his work and act with the same love

wc96 he was one of the main writers on parks and a good friend of aziz ansari's. he also played one of the animal control guys on the show. he passed away from an overdose a bit after parks ended I think. a real shame.
he passed before it ended actually, he never got to see it end

I remember coming home from school every day to watch an episode or two of this show and it honestly saved me throughout the schoolyear. this show made me so happy and whenever i come back to this video it reminds me that it's over and i'm brought to tears. I've re-watched it all 3 times haha. the characters are amazing and aghh i just love chris pratt so much

I never thought I'd get so emotional over the ending of one of my favorite shows until I saw the behind the scenes of this.....my eyes won't stop sweating. And the Lil Sebastian song got me emotional when they played that too

+Rosie Inman As much as I want Parks and Recreation to go on forever, ojigbo is right. P&R ended while it was at the top, and was able to wrap everything up very neatly for its 7th season, something that a lot of shows now don't get.

No matter how many times I watch the show the ending always has me really emotional, it was such an amazing show and the finale was perfect
Im glad that Amy got the biggest applause among everyone as she deserves it. I liked her so much. I admire her honesty, leadership, friendship and passionate about what she believes in. She inspired me.
Apart from Laughs, the characters in this show reflects our personality and a part of us want to be like them (or are them) at some point in our lives.
Leslie - Leader, Go Getter, Friendship.
Ron - Hates Change and stick to what he believes in
Tom - Entrepreneur by nature but plays safe.
April - No goal in life till the very moment which clicks and wants to live for it.
Andy - Live every Moment to the fullest.
Ben - Dork but Intelligent.
Jerry - Perfect guy who loves to spend time with family with no big aspirations or burdens.
Chris - We all wants to be positive, healthy and happy like him.
Donna - Investment freak with Job as side hustle.
Ann - One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
This show came into my life during one of the darkest moments of my life and I am so grateful for it. The characters became like friends to me.
I see a little bit of several of them in me. I have my Ron Sawnson Moments, My Tom Haverford, moments, even Chris Treager moments. Hope this show stays on Netflix forever.
This was so great. You could see and feel every emotion on each actors' face as their scenes were wrapped.
Something about seeing people get emotional, makes me emotional. You can tell that everybody truly cares for one another and that makes me happy. Love you Parks and Rec.
The series ending most be a thousand times harder on the cast because over years, you make friends then you all go separate ways

Just finished a 2 week binge watch of the entire show and it's my all time favorite. I can't express how real these characters feel to me and I just wish I could continue watching their journey through life forever.

this gets me emotional af. i watched the whole show over a span of two weeks during winter break... i finished recently and the finale made me cry. seeing how attached the cast was just made the ending so hard to digest. long live the parks and rec crew.
Gosh my eyes were watery for this whole video. I’m a stage performer and ending and saying good he to each show and senior is always so hard, I can’t even imagine how I sad I would be ending a show that’s I’ve been in for 7 years. Maybe I’ll experience it someday.
