Appreciate your videos for mature women with oily skin. I got this tip from a Rae Morris video, for oily skin she said to apply foundation and concealer wait 30 minutes before applying a powder. When I have the time to wait, I barely need powder or none at all.
The MAC studio fix fluid foundation is my favorite holy grail and I've found that as I'm getting older and my skin is getting dryer, I can STILL use it!

The Zoeva Authentik Setting Spray is a awesome dupe for the CT setting spray. It even has the cross polymers. The ingredients are almost identical too!

I've been watching for about 5 yrs i think now at least and u got me on the CT for sure! And out of the many bottles I've bought, only 1 stopped working at the pump and i juat put a different pump on it and all is good! It smells amazing and does not feel like hairspray! Its the best and ppl are just h8ters. H8ters will h8te girl!
Oh these products look great, I love Mac products as well. I don't use the foundation but I have quite a few Mac products, I always take a variety of brushes with me when I'm away, I love them. ❤

I was not impressed with the Hourglass version at all. I wish I would have returned it, but I keep it as a back-up. The Givenchy Prism setting powder is the only one (so far) for my 67 year-old skin that doesn’t give away my age. I only use it sparingly… growing older is truly hard, lol. The ND concealer is fantastic 👌 i love it. CT setting spray is amazing. i love it, I'm on my 4th bottle now, and this one is the jumbo bottle. Nars light reflecting foundation for medium coverage and Hourglass soft glow foundation for full coverage. Bobbi Brown colour corrector. Urban decay eyeshadow primer is a must for me.

The Charlotte tilbury setting spray left spots all over my face. The sprayer is not fine enough. Because everyone was hyping it up so much I actually repurchased it thinking maybe I had gotten a dud the first time, but nope spots all over my face again no matter how far or how close, and no matter what I tried.
I love the concealer, the huda beauty powder and CT setting spray, I don't think I can do without these. I do my make up at 6am and when I get home about 8pm (or later) my make up still looks really good. Thankyou for these videos really love them all 😊

I just purchased the By Terry loose powder. I have super high hopes for it as the Huda powder makes me look like a cakey mess even when I use the smallest amount. Fingers crossed!

I have extremely dry skin so I would love more ideas on very simple makeup that looks like I spent 5 minutes on it yet looks good close up. I feel like I look too made up or not enough is “covered”. I am very diligent about skincare though. - also I am on the phone a lot and every few minutes I see my phone covered in foundation yet my right side which is pressed against the phone is now missing a lot of the makeup lol I aim for cream products, I used different types of setting powders PLUS setting sprays - yet this issue continues. I transfer my CT setting spray into an ELF setting spray bottle (it’s blue with a rattle ball inside) and it’s chefs kiss 💋 ETA: I’ve been known to buy the ELF and dump it straight into the drain and fill with CT. 😂

So true about the CT finishing spray pumps. Mine is spitting the liquid so bad now and customer service will not do anything about it. Would be nice to be able to purchase just a pump separately
@@sheilasamuels1066 I’ve been thinking about that. The issue is that it dries out inside the sprayer, so maybe it will last a bit longer with a new one
Save your pumps (and bottles too if you like) and when you get one that doesn’t work, throw it in the trash and screw the other one on there. I have extras for my CT setting spray, lotion, shampoo, etc. I just wash, rinse and dry them and seal them in a Ziploc bag so they will stay clean.
I have oily skin and that mac studio fix failed on me. It separated in less than 6 hours due to my natural oils and it was all set with powder. I looked like a mess. I do not dare to wear it when I need make up to last more than 3 hours. And rare beauty highlighter does emphesises texture... It does on me and it does on you, I can even see it in this video. After purchasing this one I realised I prefer subtle highlighters like Loreal Iconic Glow. If you can recommend similar I would appreciate (already have Essence make me glow, but I would like to have high end one that gives that blurred subtle glow)

I tried several of the colors, nothing works ((supposedly it 0:02 "oxidizes" because of the inclusion of hyaluronic acid? I have mature skin, dry/combination. That Huda Beauty Easy baked powder is so hard to find in the lighter colors , the peach is way too warm for my skin tone. I love Huda's make up I got a tiny sample to try & liked it.

You and I have a very similar skin type... oily + mature... though I think I have more creases and texture than you do because you're skin appears to be aging much better than mine. When you recommend a foundation formula I pay close attention and start filling my cart, LOL! On another note, that top you're wearing is SO sexy and beautiful on you! I love your glam look!

I don’t mind the smell or the formula of the CT spray, it just doesn’t budge proof my makeup as well as others I’ve tried. I was expecting Model in a Bottle level hold for all the hype it gets and it’s just not, for me. Holding the sprayer under hot water fixes the pump, just like hair spray.

I agree most drug store makeup is normally too warm.
Yep, a lot of drugstore foundations oxidize to orange and need to be corrected with a color corrector or an opposite-undertone powder.
Ladies if you run into a problem with your pump not working, run it under hot water. It should work after that. Thank you for the video!!

I have the ELF two ended bruch that I just love for contour.
Anything that sprays, I always wipe the nozzle with a cloth before putting the cap back on. It really helps

Try Joah set-fiction transfer proof setting spray (extreme stay) as a dupe for Charlotte T setting spray (which I also do like).

I transfer my CT setting spray into an ELF setting spray bottle (it’s blue with a rattle ball inside) and it’s chefs kiss 💋 ETA: I’ve been known to buy the ELF and dump it straight into the drain and fill with CT. 😂
Charlotte’s White Tea of Bali setting spray is amazing but I think it’s discontinued! Love the scent!!!
I’ve had two Charlotte Tibury pumps not work but continue to buy because I’ve tried at least a dozen others and this is the best!

I have, what I think, is dry or combination skin. I’ve tried setting with powder, not setting with powder and it always seems to come out that way. I think you live in MIchigan? I do as well. So true about the CT finishing spray pumps. Mine is spitting the liquid so bad now and customer service will not do anything about it. Would be nice to be able to purchase just a pump separately
@@sheilasamuels1066 I’ve been thinking about that. The issue is that it dries out inside the sprayer, so maybe it will last a bit longer with a new one

Save your pumps (and bottles too if you like) and when you get one that doesn’t work, throw it in the trash and screw the other one on there. I have extras for my CT setting spray, lotion, shampoo, etc. I just wash, rinse and dry them and seal them in a Ziploc bag so they will stay clean.

I have oily skin and that mac studio fix failed on me. It separated in less than 6 hours due to my natural oils and it was all set with powder. I looked like a mess. I do not dare to wear it when I need make up to last more than 3 hours.
And rare beauty highlighter does emphesises texture... It does on me and it does on you, I can even see it in this video. After purchasing this one I realised I prefer subtle highlighters like Loreal Iconic Glow. If you can recommend similar I would appreciate (already have Essence make me glow, but I would like to have high end one that gives that blurred subtle glow)

I tried several of the colors, nothing works ((supposedly it 0:02 "oxidizes" because of the inclusion of hyaluronic acid? I have mature skin, dry/combination. I am not quite sure what my problem is, but when I try to use a pinky-brown or nude liner on my lips, I end up looking like a kid who just drank chocolate milk 😂😭

That Huda Beauty Easy baked powder is so hard to find in the lighter colors , the peach is way too warm for my skin tone. I love Huda's make up I got a tiny sample to try & liked it.

You and I have a very similar skin type... oily + mature... though I think I have more creases and texture than you do because you're skin appears to be aging much better than mine. When you recommend a foundation formula I pay close attention and start filling my cart, LOL! On another note, that top you're wearing is SO sexy and beautiful on you! I love your glam look!

I love her shade P2, mut it’s little bit dark in winter, but P1 was too light for me (Mac NC20)
I don’t mind the smell or the formula of the CT spray, it just doesn’t budge proof my makeup as well as others I’ve tried. I was expecting Model in a Bottle level hold for all the hype it gets and it’s just not, for me. Holding the sprayer under hot water fixes the pump, just like hair spray.
