Did this on a pub about an hour ago and thought I'd upload it cause why not. After I stopped recording I killed dfly with the person from the beginning and gave the loot to the random people that joined also wtf with that wx that started begging me for gears without wanting to do anything himself lmao some comments about the run for anyone interested: -it took me a bit to find the lichen biome because I found the part of the muddy biome that the ruins generally branch off from but I started looking in the wrong directions, not a huge deal tho since I usually reserve the 1st nightmare phase for killing shadows -I shouldn't have used spears for AG, I should've just used the pick/axe but I completely forgot it got buffed to deal battle spear damage and have like 800 uses lmao -I accidentally crafted one of the thule suits without wearing the construction amulet so I lost some thulecite (but I had no inventory space left anyway so whatevs) this obviously isn't the fastest run I've ever done but I had fun and I figured there was no reason not to upload it since some people like learning from vids like these. I got hit a few times because I'm an idiot but overall it was passable for 150~ ish ping
I think that WX misunderstood your ruin rush, most people clear ruins and this way gears remain on the ground as a side effect of killing enemies. In that case, picking them for a team needs (fridges and WX upgrades) wouldn't be a problem. You are collecting gems and other loot for a team anyway.
I thought you had left, i was using your videos as reference to help me learn ruins rushing better (still no success until now but i'm getting there). Glad to see there is still a bit of love for the game in you and happy to have more content to learn from.
What's the name of the mod that you are using at 43:19? Also I am genuinely shocked that Tacoze (the wx) still plays this game to this day. They were a very notorious griefer back in the 2016-2017 era. Like I genuinely don't get why that server would unban him?? I still have him blocked on steam from years ago
I was trying scienless ruins rush, but i only fail, i dont know what happens, but i actually did it once (kill AG, yellow amulet and thulecite helmet), but never could do again, sometimes i died for terrorbeak, others for shadow monke, other for damaged clockwors, and the last time i died for ancient guardian, a damaged rock pushed AG and i was pressing F, so my character moved and AG could give 2 hits on me without armor lol Any big advice for a good scienless ruins rush?
Basically, it's all about risk management. The way Guille does it is extremely risky, and works because he's experienced and comfortable with ruins rushing. If you're going to scienceless rush ruins, you should first be very comfortable with ruins in general, so you ought to know the room layouts and know where bishop spawns are. Next, don't be afraid to make a grass suit and bring excess torch materials (insanity can be very bad when you aren't expecting or wanting it). Then, make sure to play it very safe; don't walk into shadow splemonkeys and stay out of the military pits biome, be careful in the regular military biome, and craft a magiluminescence and thulecite medallion when you can. Lastly, you should consider character choice. Nowadays, Wilson is actually pretty good for ruins rushing with torch perks, gem transmutation, and extra space for food with the right perks. WX-78 is good too by being able to avoid bishops far easier. Pretty much all of the other characters are either not viable for scienceless rushing, or it's objectively better to wait until you have alchemy. Obviously, if you're new, you should choose Wolfgang because his sanity penalty doesn't really come into play, and dealing 2x damage pretty much means you're taking half or no damage from all the enemies in ruins.

Remember you did it as Wendy in a server i was in. Used the thelucite suits to tank dfly.

WX in pubs be like:
-enters the game
-asks for gears
-eat gears
-proceeds to do nothing and leave

When i saw the WX beg for gears and the other person backed him up, that literally made my blood boil. I would've instantly left the server there

How did you manage to hit the nightmares three times in here? I can only do that with animation skipping and with dont starve alone mod
attack speed in DST is inconsistent, in this case I simply had fast enough attack speed to get the 3 hits

use your map a lot and dont play aggressively during nightmare phase until you have a mag
