Ahh Happy Birthday Hanne 🎉. Love Claridges for Afternoon Tea, such a nice place and yes, ticket prices for theatre are very pricey. That’s what I like to spend money on too and even if you’ve seen the play/musical before, there’s always a different production of it so it can be very different each time. Love your umbrella when you were at Battersea. The old power station looks amazing now! I hope it thrives with new stores. Would love to visit when next in UK. You received some beautiful gifts. Enjoy them all and thanks for sharing. 😊
Thank you so much - Claridges Afternoon tea is ranking towards the top of our hit-list so far - the service really great too. Going to the theatre is such a special experience, love it and as you say, you can easily re-watch - I think I have seen My Fair Lady so many times over the years but it is different every time with the different productions and cast. The umbrella is from Liberty - it is a special memory of a shopping vlog trip with lovely Lesley Adina on another rainy day. Battersea Power Station is definitely worth a visit, the shops might not be the most exciting which is a shame but the Power station is interesting and as it is right on the Thames, it is a nice area for walking and having some lunch or dinner. Happy Belated Birthday! I am so glad you had such a wonderful time of celebration! I really do love the color way that Fendi is doing things with right now. I really like the flip bag, but I know what you mean about worrying about how thin it is. I do love the idea of a bag that is different colors on each side, so you can turn it around and it looks like two different bags! I don't know why more bags aren't made like that, actually. Wow, I love that they gave you those gorgeous flowers! I'll pass on the bag that looks like jeans. LOL I don't understand the Marc Jacobs days that say what kind of bag they are. Just not my thing. What a beautiful place to have tea! The sandwiches and cakes looked delicious. Seeing Cabaret sounds amazing! I loved seeing the portraits. That big shopping center is so cool! I wish we had something like that near us! Oh wow, those macarons look delicious! Those bath and shower oils sound so lovely. The tranquility one sounds like something I would love. Oh my goodness, I love those earrings! What a beautiful locket. Such a thoughtful gift! What a lovely birthday!

Yes, I agree with you the Fendi Flip bag has potential and the design concept is a good one with multiple options to wear it and multiple colours - I think they just need to work on the design a bit more and then there is a winner. I was wondering if the Madison Power station was once a power plant turned into a mall? In my country we have one called Power Plant mall which used to be a Thermal plant but it’s no where as interesting looking as the one you’ve shown because it seems like the exterior was preserved well plus parts of the interior still has remnants of being a power plant. Love the large chandelier! Truly a show stopper! 👍🏻 Have you decided on what blue bag to get for your birthday? 🥳 Love to see Mrs. Sparkles! 🐈⬛ My dog just died last Saturday so it’s just me an Meow Meow in my room! 🐈⬛
Thank you so very much, it was a great birthday week - just love having a drawn out birthday and feel very blessed. The Battersea Power Station is indeed an old power plant, it supplied London with a fifth of its electricity including Housing of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. It was built 1920's /30's so has a lot of Art Deco style details and they have done an excellent job restoring it and as you also said keep some of the original engine features. It is possible to go up in one of the chimneys as well. I am still deliberating on the blue Fendi bags - another Drop 2 is coming very soon so also waiting to see that. I am so sorry to hear about your recent loss of your dog, it is so heartbreaking, I hope you are coping ok and Meow Meow is keeping you company. @@somuchdesignwithhanne I love it when a structure is being repurposed but still keeping the integrity of the original design, somehow! 😊 Thanks for the condolences for my dog Arf Arf fought a short battle of Lymphoma Sarcoma a kind of cancer that metastasized so fast. Cried for a couple of days and was calling his name. Meow Meow is not the affectionate type but I really wanted a cat for the longest time! She is very behaved as she only attacks one of my baskets in my room.❤ The rest of my planters are safe from her wrath! 😂 Plus she is content being bu herself in my room! 🐈⬛ I hope you finally find your dream blue bag one day! I am also on the hunt for the perfect green Chanel tweed bag as my final bag (but not slg) 🤞 Crossing my finger that I could achieve purse peace after this purchase and sell my unused bags as well. 😊
