I am a hockey goalie and I watch this EVERY DAY before my games. This is my second hockey season watching this exact video. Even if I have a 7:00am game I WILL give up sleep and ask my father to wake me up 7 minutes earlier. This is the BEST speech for goalies.

How could someone dislike this video....
It tells you to pull three all nighters in a row, to almost drown yourself, and that if you shatter a ribcage, it’s just temporary
It said none of that, it was all metaphors. He didn’t say to almost drown yourself he said to want success like you want air. He didn’t say go out and break a rib cage he said don’t let the pain phase you push through it. And for some of the stuff you really want you may have to pull al nighters he is just saying be ready because if you want success you have to make sacrifice. I think you missed everything he said

I haven't Played over 20yrs until this year after finding this video I've been listen to this everyday and before every game time now I play like there's no tomorrow and made me never give up(\m/)
this video helped me so much. I was playing AA hockey my whole life and could never make AAA, it was my dream to be on the AAA team. But this year i made the AAA team and before every game that im playing in i watch this video to get me pumped up and make amazing saves like the ones in this video. Keep making videos like this man, it really helped me and i think it could help everyone else too.

Great video. Would love to also see one full of perfect fundamental saves. "Spectacular" saves require a lot of luck, but great goalies tend to make themselves look lucky by getting shot into all the time, or the shooter misses the net.
