Hello! May I ask question, please? When I add audio track to timeline, Track FX button on the left (next to "Mute" button) is green already. Does it mean some effects automatically applied? I click on it, and I see three applied effects: Track Noise Gate, Track EQ and Track Compressor. Does it mean, that they affect my original audio? I don't want any modifications of my audio, until I do it myself. Should I click on this green Track FX button and choose "Delete all"?
In Movie Studio, three audio effects are added by default to every audio clip -- Track Noise Gate, Track EQ and Track Compressor -- which is why you see the Track FX as green whenever you add a clip.
Yes, I understand this, that's why I asked: _Does it mean, that they affect my original audio? I don't want any modifications of my audio, until I do it myself. Should I click on this green Track FX button and choose "Delete all"?_ But I've got another answer on the same question, and it sounds a lot more to what I expected to hear. Here it is: _"The 3 Audio FX that are added by default are there but not turned ON, because the presets are set to neutral settings that have no effect. Only if you select a preset or change sliders will they begin to change sound. They are OK to stay there - don't worry"._ Anyway, I switched that off and set that by default. So Track FX button on them now is always inactive (not green), to not bother me. So, I'm glad it's possible to make these by default and never adjust again. By the way, I'm disappointed because I found that Preview window shows not exactly, what it will be on the final rendered video. For example, video starts from the (Legacy) Text. And after it main video starts. Between them there are fade out (Text) and fade in (main video). And in Preview window it looks like when text completely faded out, the video starts to fade in already in the next frame. But on the final video there are maybe 6-7 frames of complete darkness before video starts to show. I checked final video in Media Player Classic - Home Cinema and in Windows Media Player. And in both cases I have this situation. That's why I was disappointed, because it means, I can't trust to Preview window, which is the main instrument in the program. The main time/frame counter is also shows not exactly, what media player shows on final video, when I move frame by frame and whatch its time counter.
***** I don't know that that's actually the case, Oleg. But if you'd like to discuss this further -- and maybe get more than just my opinion -- please drop by my free Community Forum at Muvipix.com. I'm sure our worldwide community of friendly people will have some unique insight.
HELP !!!! Sony Vegas Pro 13. Is there anyone that is using the Sony Vegas Pro Movie Editing program.? I’m having a difficult time rendering and saving the movie. After rendering and saving the video, I can open the video. Then when I try to watch it, it will only open in the program, not as separate video. I have watched several videos on You Tube but none will show me what I’m doing wrong or what I need to do. Thanks!
