Ritual Monsters are main deck too...unfortunately...I think this was always the problem of them to begin with. But because they were revealed I rummaged through my old card tins and actually found an original "Manju" and "End of the World"...so...I kinda like them. Overall I think with them out we can't get "Djinn Releaser of Rituals" ever off the ban list...but I would love to simply for the Kaiju protection.
If Cyber Dragons can play again im doin it. They were my babys... Then MR4 came around AND RUINED IT! ... I enjoyed how the deck played and how it was able to play... The deck doesnt have what it needs to play in MR4 links or rather the restriction on the Extra Deck killed it

The only drawback to them is that while you control either of them, your Extra Deck is off limits...but since you're about to sac them for a Ritual Summon _anyway,_ who cares? So basically: -Summon Manju to add End(less) of the World or Big Demise/Ruin to hand, or add End(less) of the World and regular Demise (...or Ruin? Yeah, right) with Pre-Prep if you have Candoll, if need be. -Reveal End(less) of the World to Special Summon Candoll OR reveal Big Demise/Ruin to Special Summon Talismandra. -Special Summon the other Deviritual from your Deck. -Add Big Demise/Ruin or End(less) of the World to your hand. -Hey look, you've got 2 monsters with a total Level of 10 on the field to sac for your Ritual Summon! Quite a few 2-card combos you can work with right there. No. It is because of the old Demise OTK used Adv Ritual Art with Insect Knights/other lvl4vanilla insects to then summon Demise, Blow the field, then summon Dozer. Though metamorphosis is still banned so the otk still doesn't exist as can't metamorphosis into Cyber twin. Though maybe there's a new way to otk with it, i dunno.
Demise OTK was my main shit back in the day. Then again i also played Norleras OTK too while it was awesome. I used to love those kinda funky OTK decks that didn't just revolve around drawing your whole deck or burn.
I want to see generic ritual support that preprep can still search. It could say something like "Reveal 1 ritual monster in your hand, replace this cards effects with the revealed ritual monsters ritual required to summon it. If this card and a ritual monster is in your GY, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: you can banish this card form the GY, and if you do, target 1 ritual monster in your GY special summon it (this special summon is treated as a Ritual summon). You must also send tributes from your hand, field, or deck to the GY that equal the LV of the ritual monster. You can only use this effect once per turn."
well, if Ruin is summoned by tributing ritual monsters, she can attack twice, so if you summon her with young Demise, then she can attack twice, your ritual monsters can't be destroyed by effects and their effects can't be negated, so, at that point, all you have to do is summon big man Demise and you win the game, it can even be moderate size man Demise really, since Ruin will already attack for 5800 dmg
hunter of strength yes, but, as i said, if you summon demise after ruin, its pretty much a win, of course there will be ways to stop it before that, otherwise it would be ridiculous
True, 5800 damage from ruin if you used demises effect to clear the field. Plus your attack from demise to wipe out the rest of their life points for their OTK
Average opinion The real question is how do you get both of them out at the same time in a timely manner? Having both on the field is essentially game but you need to use the ritual spell twice in some form and have the monsters to summon them AND have them in hand. That's a MINIMUM of six cards. Seems like Demise would be the better card to use but if they got cards to stop him from showing up then he's screwed. I would say having ruin on the field first would be better so that demise can come in without issue, and she's beefy enough that running over her is gonna be hard as hell. If she's the only one on the field then they need someone who's at least 2900 to knock her out, and if you used a ritual monster to get her out then she can't be blown up by card effects. Ruin has the better defensive effect and to be honest her secondary effect ain't shabby either (she already can't be destroyed by card effects so outside of walking into something that bounces or banishes her, all they can do is negate the attack in some form, and she's gonna swing twice plus do burn which puts them on a timer). Both are good, the problem is really just getting them out at the same time.
As someone who used to play the old versions of these two a lot as the boss monsters for my old high school deck...this support is a huge surprise but also really appreciated! I might pick these up just to have.
Big ruin aint that bad as she actually gets the full 2 attacks during the battle phase and not that only on monsters bullshit that so many cards suffer. Add to that that she effectively gets 2 direct hits as she burns for the atk of the destroyed monsters you'd be 2200 short of an otk. The deck as a whole just doesnt seem too great for todays standards. Also can we finally get rid of the "except the turn this card was sent to the graveyard" clause on ritual spells for clearly weaker decks, its like konami is scared of them being the next nekroz or something when they can hardly function
Actually, the field spell changes the level of the monster in your hand, meaning big(gest) demise in hand will become equal to the level of little demise on field. Small point, but I just wanted to be annoying.

So far that's the biggest draw back for this archetype. It is seriously annoying. I tried to synergize them with Cyber Angels but they need exact requirements if used from the hand with the original ritual spell. Too picky. Too weak against targeting effects in my opinion.
1. The new rituals would be better if they could be pre-prepped. 2. they'd be better if they retained the original card name in the GY as well. 3. I'm not using that damn trap card.

I like the trap. The trap seems pretty good. Y'know, as far as ritual summoning and traps go. It's a better way to summon Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon and Blue-Eyes Chaos Max than their respective ritual cards. And if you use it to summon something like, say, Gravity Dragon or one of the Shinobirds, you get their effects during your opponent's turn. Which is to say, they enter the end phase, and you bounce their entire back row. It sends itself to the graveyard as cost, which if I recall correctly, means it can't be ghost reaper'd. It banishes the monster which means it can't be ghost ash'd. You can activate its first effect during the end phase, whereafter they've most likely set all their quickplays which thus can no longer be used that turn. It seems pretty good to me. At least, for what it is.
I think the idea of having the little ones be level 4 is that you tribute them for the originals so they have some aditional effects in order to make up for the fact hey are relatively old. Otherwise having them be level 5 would make more sense.
Ritual support, YEAAH!! *_long rant(kinda) incoming, you've been warned_* Their artworks are as good as you would expect from Demise/Ruin retrains but their effects leave something to be desired. Firstly why are they not treated as the originals in the grave as well? A Ritual Spell that can revive them from the grave would be welcome but now that's not possible as future support. Secondly the little ones could have the effect to be treated as the entire tribute instead of having an unsearchable spell do that AND/OR they could have an effect that searches the originals and/or the ritual spells upon being sent from the field to the grave, giving you an incentive to actually summon them. ONE MORE THING, why does big Ruin have 2900 ATK/3000 DEF while having an effect to attack twice? ITDONTMAKENOMUTHAF&%$INGSENSE!!
I mean, if you want ritual protection you can just use Ritual Cage. I'm sure it's got its own problems but on the upside you don't have to play Ruin, Queen of Missed Opportunities.
konami do i have to do your job for you this is how you give a real ritual monster effect. level 4 domise when ritual summon or tribute you can destroy 1 card. while in the graveyard your opponent cannot interrupt when that ritual monster is ritual summon or activated its effect. level 4 queen. when ritual summon or tribute you can make 1 monster you control, it can make a second attack. while in the graveyard ritual monsters cannot be targeted by your opponent cards and cannot be tribute expect for a ritual summon. the end of the world field spell 1st effect is fine but for the second one, you can choose to destroy 1 card or draw a card when you ritual sumon
Ruin is a one of maybe 2 of little ruin is 3 along with mini demise etc and nobody is going to run the trap when you can ritual summon on your turn or if you want to ritual summon on your turn there's a trap for that already
why all about in the cards of ruin is no very good but for some reason is going to cost much like armageddon only because that artwork is absolutely flawless. great video
really guys, you cant see it? The reason why before using Ruin in a demise deck was the fact that Ruin would have been killed by Demise eff. Now, it cant be destroyed by card effects. Also, having BOTh of them on the field = OTK Use demise eff, blow everythinf. Ruin double attack= 5800 plus demise king attack = 8800, and since you blew up their field, they have no protection
I'm pretty sure they are tied, since they got revealed together, synergize well and, if you put together the Lvs of the 2 devirituals, it makes 10, just like the new Ruin and Demise, but maybe it's just a large Lv so that you can ritual anything you want with their little play
They seem cool but a bit inconsistant. The new devirituals help greatly for them but they still need more support. Hopefully they get an archetypal ritual shurit for a full tribute or a 3rd deviritual comes out that can fetch stuff for ritual summons out of the grave/banished,
Something I don't think you said (unless I missed it) is the fact that endless of the world sais it can be used to summon demise king of Armageddon or ruin queen of oblivion (the og names) but it can't even summon those 2 of monsters only the other ritual that are treated as such i n hand or field
The main reason I bring this up is if you want to run pre-prep to search endless of the void, you can't even summon the og ones with the searched ritual spell

Here's the thing, ruin can deal up to 5800 damage in one turn. Plus if used with demise that will be an OTK which is what the original deck was meant to do.
1:47 this effect confuses me says during this turn, but then ALSO says during each battle phase, now if the first part wasn't there it'd make sense, but the wording here just makes none, as there is only 1 battle phase per turn.
I'm going to assume, there'll be a mechanic or card that will let you conduct your battle phase 2x...actually I think there is a card that does that...not sure though.
Ritual sanctuary searches ruin. Demise blows up your field. Ruin is a fairy. She's more viable than demise. If the spells had destruction protection demise would be better. Can't judge at face value.
Actually, lv10 Ruin is the good one. Summon her first (tribute rituals course) and then lv8 demise. Nuke the fucking field until the path is clean. Attack for game.
After thinking for a while, I can't really get behind this support because of how cost inefficient it is...I mean how am I supposed to keep restocking on ritual monsters and ritual spells every turn? these ain't like vendreads where you can practically ritual summon from anywhere with materials from anywhere....

level 4 domise when ritual summon or tribute you can destroy 1 card. while in the graveyard your opponent cannot interrupt when that ritual monster is ritual summon or activated its effect.
level 4 queen. when ritual summon or tribute you can make 1 monster you control, it can make a second attack.
while in the graveyard ritual monsters cannot be targeted by your opponent cards and cannot be tribute expect for a ritual summon.
the end of the world field spell 1st effect is fine but for the second one, you can choose to destroy 1 card or draw a card when you ritual sumon

Ruin is a one of maybe 2 of little ruin is 3 along with mini demise etc and nobody is going to run the trap when you can ritual summon on your turn or if you want to ritual summon on your turn there's a trap for that already

really guys, you cant see it? The reason why before using Ruin in a demise deck was the fact that Ruin would have been killed by Demise eff. Now, it cant be destroyed by card effects. Also, having BOTh of them on the field = OTK
Use demise eff, blow everythinf. Ruin double attack= 5800 plus demise king attack = 8800, and since you blew up their field, they have no protection

I'm pretty sure they are tied, since they got revealed together, synergize well and, if you put together the Lvs of the 2 devirituals, it makes 10, just like the new Ruin and Demise, but maybe it's just a large Lv so that you can ritual anything you want with their little play
norman glover 2 cards have been revealed you can see them on ygorganization. They work hand and hand to ss one another and help with summoning rituals

Kaiju + Ruin Graceful + Ruin angel + Honest = OTK.
They really love those two Rituals.
I would play Ruin because I like the design and the fact she protects from Demise that is called Synergy
You got the field spell effect backwards the revealed Monster becomes level of the monster on field
I have no clue why these guys got support but that doesn't stop me from being a little happy.
What's funny is I actually have most of these cards, walmart "mystery" cubes.
They seem cool but a bit inconsistant. The new devirituals help greatly for them but they still need more support. Hopefully they get an archetypal ritual shurit for a full tribute or a 3rd deviritual comes out that can fetch stuff for ritual summons out of the grave/banished,
If anything, we could just run the level 4 Ruin to gain it's from the hand ritual material eff
Something I don't think you said (unless I missed it) is the fact that endless of the world sais it can be used to summon demise king of Armageddon or ruin queen of oblivion (the og names) but it can't even summon those 2 of monsters only the other ritual that are treated as such i n hand or field
The main reason I bring this up is if you want to run pre-prep to search endless of the void, you can't even summon the og ones with the searched ritual spell

Here's the thing, ruin can deal up to 5800 damage in one turn. Plus if used with demise that will be an OTK which is what the original deck was meant to do.
Ruin is a good otk though. o.o Add a little honest as well and it is sooo nice. Double attack, killed monster dmg to life, and honest. Awesome.
I feel like the limitation on the ritual spells grave effect and trap must have been slip ups. There's no way they deliberatly did that.
Now we need a new doom dozer and advanced ritual art for extra nostalgia
1:47 this effect confuses me says during this turn, but then ALSO says during each battle phase, now if the first part wasn't there it'd make sense, but the wording here just makes none, as there is only 1 battle phase per turn.
I'm going to assume, there'll be a mechanic or card that will let you conduct your battle phase 2x...actually I think there is a card that does that...not sure though.

You misread the field, the monster in hand is the one whose level changes, not the one targetted on the field.

Ritual Weapon gonna see Play again, with the Level 4 Variants. Especially Baby Ruin.
Ritual sanctuary searches ruin. Demise blows up your field. Ruin is a fairy. She's more viable than demise. If the spells had destruction protection demise would be better. Can't judge at face value.

i really like Ruin's effect, you "can" run 3 torrential tribute and be fine, i guess but she is not a run 3 of card at all by any means.
At the most, I'd only run 2 Ruin in case the 1st gets Kaiju'd
Actually, lv10 Ruin is the good one. Summon her first (tribute rituals course) and then lv8 demise. Nuke the fucking field until the path is clean. Attack for game.

After thinking for a while, I can't really get behind this support because of how cost inefficient it is...I mean how am I supposed to keep restocking on ritual monsters and ritual spells every turn? these ain't like vendreads where you can practically ritual summon from anywhere with materials from anywhere....
