I also love this song because during my wedding last October my wife to be walked down that aisle with a 12 piece symphony with piano, a keyboard flute & a Gibson guitar solo playing 7:29 minutes of Champagne Supernova & after the guitar solo she appears with her beautiful dress & her father wearing his formal RAF uniform giving her away to me. The happiest day of my life & thanks to this PERFECT & FLAWLESS masterpiece written by the Holy Lord Almighty Noel Gallagher & sung by the Messiah Liam

This is definitely a masterpiece. It's pure poetry. Liam's voice is so right and angelic, the lyrics are fabulous and the video is one of the best I've ever seen. Love you Oasis.

Amazing. Oddly enough I was just listening to this song about 10 minutes ago.
My great aunt is 70 and in the 90's she was headmistress at a school. When she wanted the kids to be quiet for her to mark papers etc, she used to bribe the kids by putting Oasis on for them. This song was probably the first song that really got me hooked on Oasis, way back in 1995 when What's The Story Morning Glory was released. The final track in all its 7 minutes of glory and pure brilliance blasted out of my friend's stereo and I was sold on Oasis! Even after 15 years, this song doesn't fail to impress me! Noel Gallagher is a songwriting genius, despite the fact that the song has nonsensical lyrics, and who gives a shit about that anyways?!!
