- These at 30 meters high are the largest public works of art in Scotland. They are the creation of Andy Scott, cost £5 million to build and opened to the public in April 2014. They are attractive in daylight with sun shining on the stainless steel plates and also at night when the internal lighting takes over in periodically changing colours.
Enjoyed your video, nicely done, thank you

Drove past this sculpture in the middle of the night without any knowledge of it, it scared the soul out of me lol. But when i see it again, it is quite the spectacle.
Yeah, it does look spooky, especially at night. Imagine standing around it. It would overwhelm you.
Superb informative coverage of the Kelpies, thank you. I’ve never seen them at night but have had the privilege of visiting the inside. This video is a wonderful piece of work. ATB Terry

Just magnificent. They are so incredibly beautiful.
Excellent Presentation , A true work of art,
What a huge undertaking to build not just one but 2 of these enormouse and complex structures , what an acheivement.
Has any of the royal family even bothered to come to promote these magnificent horses? They are so unheard of its crazy. These should be on Scottish bank notes also land marks like this should be promoted. I know it was locally but the only reason I know they exist is I have a boat there. Otherwise I would never know they were there. Tell people about these. . The art galleries should have a massive print of them.
Queen Elizabeth 2nd literally opened the canal and there is a plaque at the place that says it
Beautiful and amazing... I loved them

Who is here after seeing them being built in "BLUE WORLD CITY" PAKISTAN ❤️❤️
Falkirk is best
Beautiful sculptures.
Good video but the subtitles need to be seriously sorted out.x
Hi Betty. I am glad you like the video but the sub titles are not mine but Google's. I assume that you have the English (auto generated) option turned on. Just use Turn off captions option I am sure their computer was doing its best with my accent.
K Bryce Morrison oh of course.. stupid me, forgot about that . Sorry x
They remind me of that awful hellish-looking horse statue by Denver airport in the USA.
Now Pakistan made bigger then this made the world record.. search blue world city Islamabad horse mascot
It's not a competition mate 😂
