I stopped watching that show when Skip refused to give any credit to Lebron for winning this championship, claiming it was “pure luck” which is utterly ridiculous. If Skip can’t ever admit when he’s wrong it just ruins the show.
Facts
I stopped watching him sometimes in his last days on First Take. Him and Colin Cowherd say a lot of really callous irresponsible shit on their platforms and I just would rather not hear them say that shit. Often times things Skip says he knows are wrong even when he keeps it strictly about the sport. At that point there really is no point in debating.

He hasn't been doing it long and really only had one short series of videos. Not enough time to build much of a fanbase. On the other hand, he had one of the greatest basketball series on youtube and grew faster than anyone I've seen on youtube.

Yeah, I’ll be curious. To be fair, a decent amount of commentators have their own podcast. On a side note, Shannon is one of a kind. I could listen to that guy talk for days. He’s just full of insight.

I was curious, I've seen many times, the 'showing' weakness idea in many sport arguments, usually against LeBron James, sometimes Jeremy Lin (when he broke his knee), recently Joel Embiid after Kawhi's clutch shoot. But then the narrative is different, e.g. when Michael Jordan had to escape to baseball due to rumored gambling addict.
It looks like gambling addict is not a mental or weak stuff but career ending knee injury or chronic compliant/diva-ing which can basically happen to everyone is showing weakness.
Edit, extra info - Kevin Love and DeMar DeRozan are considered weak as well, especially when they unveil they had depression and/or anxiety. Considering a black kid growing up in dangerous neighborhood, losing family member at early age, are definitely in a higher risk group of mental illness. Annnnd, K. As crazy as Stephen A Smith gets at times, he's never really crossed that line (at least I don't recall an incident even remotely close to the two Skip examples in the video). He does the opposite in fact. Stephen A's constant spiel of "I love this man. He is special and a good man, love that brother, but with all that said, he played HORRIBLE last night!" is a meme for a reason.

You should hear what the folks at The Ticket sports radio station in Dallas say about his time there. They couldn’t stand him and were quite happy when he left. Oddly enough, or perhaps not oddly, when he left the new morning show team took over and the station’s ratings took off.
