I have some sort of the same problem. My van sometimes hard shifts then feels like the front end is vibrating. I have to let off the gas and then gradually go again to get it to stop or if I drive it it’ll stop on it’s own. Sometimes it does it when switching gears, other times it does in overdrive just cruising down the highway. I can’t really afford a rebuilt transmission. So I’m hoping it’s one of those things. U shouldn't get a lot of fluid out of there when u remove the pan anyway.
If u have the same transmission that shows in this video, probably it won't have a transmission dipstick. U can order one from ebay or Amazon (aftermarket part) if u think u need to check the oil level....

This is a link for a dipstick. U can use it for different transmissions. The one showing in this video is a 62te transmission. Dipstick comes with a chart for different transmissions.
I have p0868 does this have anything to do with it?
P0868 code indicates that there's an issue with the transmission fluid pressure, and is what this video is about. ...keep I'm mind that this sensor comunicates with computer and also with solenoid pack....there is a video in my channel on how to check solenoid pack. I recommend u to watch it,run that test first, and see if all readings are correct. If they do,check connectors from the transmission to the computer...make sure everything is making good contact.
Does ur car have any issues or is just the code ?
I have this same code p0868 for months I didn't know what was wrong with it because no lights were on the dashboard. Put a scan tool on it and 1 code popped up p0868. When breaking it feels like it wants to stall and it has gotten worst😅. Thanks for the video I will have my mechanic check this area
Do you have to drain the fluid?
No. Some fluid will come out when u remove the transmission pan... but is not a lot... just make sure that after the repair u put back the same amount of oil that came out.
What is the labor time on this?
Well I was recording all the time 😂...but if u really focus on what you doing I think 1.5 hours.
@@larasgarage2021 thanks for letting me know!
who knows how to check (pull out) the airbag fuses (16-32 under the yellow cover. it does not pull out .. only halfway
We need to make a video of this.
Where is located that yellow cover?
@@larasgarage2021 ja...
I changed my sensor today, it was barley any fluid in the pan
👀👀👀😬 most of the oil is in the lower transmission pan. Hope everything turns out well 🙏
@@larasgarage2021ok I'm going to change filter and gasket since it had a leak. Hopefully this would he me get back rolling
What is the part number please
Minute 7:30 is the info brother.
If u go to Dodge dealer give them car info and ask for transmission oil pressure sensor or transmission pressure transducer switch....same part.
J'ai le même problème ce matin avec ma Fiat Freemont,je demande si le problème est résolu avec le changement du capteur?
