  • hi everyone
in today's tutorial i have chosen to keep it quite simple, but effective. i am using as new set up so am aware that the piece does go out of shot a couple of times but i now know what to look out for.
that said, i was still happy with the end result so decided to go ahead and post it.
    i used the following:
    flush cutters
    chain nose pliers
    round nose pliers
    optional:
    steel plate
    jewellery hammer
Ring mandrel or solid mandrel to form frame
    bail making pliers
    0.6 / 22 gauge wire
    1.25/1.5 /15 gauge wire
    1.0/ 18 gauge wire
possibly 0.4/ 26 gauge wire if smaller drill hole
top drilled gemstone of choice but preferably flat back or flat style as opposed to rounded drop.
sorry for the background noises, but life is a bit strange at the moment
i hope you all enjoy this video, please share your results on here or on my fb pages
    any questions please ask
    Stay stafe and craft away!
    Laura xx

This is so stunning! No worries about your family sounds during the video; that's life.
Is there any way you can keep your work in the frame? It was difficult to see what you were doing then.
You made this look so easy! Thanks for sharing. ❤

I was trying out a new camera set up and I know where it went wrong so can tweak it for the next time xx

hello! i love your videos, and your tutorials are very helpful. i do have a question - where do you get your crystals from? like the ones you use in tutorials for wrapping? especially the teardrop/flat back crystals

I totally love the style and would be interested in seeing one done that is not drilled.
Also, if you angled the camera in toward yourself would show better as you worked mainly in the bottom third or off camera most of the time.
Not trying to be offensive, just some constructive criticism. Thank you

Thank you i will try a non drilled version and yes the camera was too far back so I kept drawing my hands to me but it was a new set up I can tweak it for next time 😁😁
