Sean Livingston's career literally was a miracle. Looking at that injury, you would think the odds of him coming back to peak performance was impossible.. Living in NJ, I was a Nets fan, and Sean Marks took the chance with Sean Livingston, and rehabbed his career. Where the league took notice when he played with the Nets. Because of the league rules Nets could not re-sign him, and GSW took advantage.

Having followed Shaun on GSW even though efficient on his midrange game, I've seen him miss. Only fans who watch highlights on UA-cam, or even you got fooled on this one. One particular game I'm sure he missed was that famous Cavaliers vs. Warriors on 2016 Christmas day. The ONLY flaw in tthis video is the assertion that it was a league of 3 point shooting in 2014, which it certainly wasn't. It was only the Warriors, and other teams weren't taking as many until 2017 - and that was still much less than the average 3pt attempts we see today in 2024. Livingston not fitting in the league had nothing to do with 3pt shooting. Teams were afraid of his injury history.

FALSE! Just not true: you can find video of him missing a whole bunch of mid-range shots, even when playing for the Warriors. Someone claimed this and it spread like a meme, but ask yourself, even in practice, could anyone hit 1300 jumpers, from anywhere, without a miss, while being guarded? It's unbelievably rare to even hit 100. NOW add the best defenders in the world (NBA) and the pressure of the shot clock,..... silly. And video don't lie (much). He missed plenty.
Still, a great player, with an inspirational story, on an incredible team -- he was fun to watch.
