We have lost chickens and geese to Bobcat, Foxes, and Coyote. Night camera has also showed Bear, Raccoons and a Great Horned Owl making night visits. So we got an Anatolian Shepherd, a livestock guard dog. Best decision ever! She guards all night. Nothing visits anymore. She scares them off. And she is so sweet. We love her.
Anatolian shepherds are the best! And they are usually long lived. I plan to getting some more after I find my forever home. They are my favorite large breed dog.
Hate to hear this sentiment. Not exactly the same thing, but my Rachio is great and so much easier to adjust than on my old rain bird… especially convenient when the weather is crazy and I don’t want to stand out in the heat or cold… or at 11pm when I suddenly doubt whether I turned a zone back on or not. Sounds like the b-hyve is just crappy design. Don’t write off all tech 🙂
San Diego area gardening can be difficult in the summers because of the garden overheating. The last couple of summers we've used shade cloth draped over 10x10 pop up frames. It has helped keep the garden from drying out so quickly while we're at work. Along with mulching we only irrigate before or after work.
Dude you're doing great!! Your place looks amazing after a scant year and a half! It took me three years of trial and error, losing half of what I planted, if it were easy it would be boring, just THINK of the hundreds of thousands of people you are helping!!
Brian, I just viewed your video and I enjoy seeing your progress. I was surprised when you showed the tracks you found on your property. I have spent a large portion of my life as a hunter and I would say you have a mountain lion in the area. You may want to caution your neighbors of what you found so everyone will be on the alert. Your property looks spectacular, you have taken on some major projects since moving in. I really like how you have transformed the property.
I agree with mountain lion. I am so over the heat and our flop of a summer garden. Ive had drip issues as well. Im just straight over it!! Good luck to you, and definitely be safe at dawn and dusk. Im in Northern California. Growing up in the foothills, my parents hammered 'if there's deer, there's mountain lions' into my brain.
Definitely mountain lion. Watch out at dusk if you are a jogger or biker. We see them periodically around here, but they have plenty of deer to keep them fed!
I'm giving up early this year! It's supposed to get down into the 40s at night soon so I spent this past weekend repotting and dragging my tropicals into the house, still have one more banana plant to do before the cold hits. I'm done with gardening this year, no fall garden for me. Between the extreme heat, insects and blight, I feel totally exhausted! Once I moved my tropicals, I started grieving for summer just like my best friend had died. I am definitely not a winter person and knowing the cold weather will be here soon makes me want to hibernate 'til Spring.
Glad your plants recovered! I don’t like any timers that rely on batteries. I’d for sure contact the company and tell them the issues you had. Your garden is amazing. I can’t physically do much gardening anymore so watching you and others helps fill the void. Thank you.
Thanks Brian. #1 I would carry a shot gun around with me, that paw print was huge! #2 I think winter is going to be arriving early in Michigan, so no fall garden for me. #3 I hope you get your timers straightened out . Thanks again. 🌺💚🙃 I decided to add a #4 welcome to country living. 🌺💚🙃
Oh Brian! The place (even with that bit of browning) is absolutely beautiful! I loved your “ADHD” moment. I have been having a rough day and crying over stupid things…you and that pumpkin made me smile. Thank you. 🥰 You and your sweet family be careful and stay safe. That paw print looks pretty darned scary. Love and hugs to you, Emilie and Noah. ❤🤗❤️
Yes that pumpkin is beautiful! Looks delish! Unfortunately no fall here in the tropics, but our forever summer means other things can grow forever. Am about to start on some sweet potatoes.
i have THE EXACT same issue with my behive timers. they TURN OFF at about 25 to 30%. i have a notification in my phone to check the battery once amonth. i replace the batteries at the begining of the season and about 3 ish months later and that gets me to october. by that point i am at frost warnings so i remove them.
The problem with a Bluetooth device is if you aren't within a certain distance (bluetooth 5.0 is 800 feet for a strong signal) with no interference, the device won't connect to your phone. This is probably why you were never notified. Also, most phones can only have one bluetooth device connected at a time and it will take the stronger signal. There is a WiFi kit for those B-Hyve controllers you can get which will help a lot!
Hey Brian, I just found out that you’re going to be on the summit again for traditional schools of learning! I’m so excited I cannot wait to see you there!
Local sport here in NE Oh is sharing (or giving away) grocery bags full of divided iris with anyone who will take all of them! I never knew they needed any help with which way they faced. They are beautiful, I have always had some and admire the range of colors. Full sun is best, I don't have much now but the iris mound is huge and needs the dreaded shovel! Love the plans, great idea!☺ count your chickens if you have a big cat! 😯
I have found living in Oregon, it is quite challenging in my area growing in Spring. The weather is erratic and I deal with fungus and pests. Last year it rained every day in June so I skipped planting anything even though I was late getting started. I began planting Summer vegetables in July for our short Summer but can extend growing into the Fall. Then I began to plant my Fall garden in September or whenever the weather cools down enough, which it did this year. I have found planting in Summer and Fall, I am dealing with much less pests slugs, aphids, white fly, etc. I live in a rural area with large cedar trees and have also been gardening in pots on castors to move plants around to accomodate the light requirements, and avoid rain. I also have less pest issue with pots on castors.
I've had medical issues lately and relied on the irrigation and timer To keep everything watered. And I noticed that I was not getting notifications. And when I was able to go look at it the garden, It was not working so I go and do problem solving. And when I pulled out the battery pack, one of the batteries fell out. Well, come to find out that water had gotten in the battery pack and Rusted the prongs and they were broken. It was the first time i'd ever used it this year. So I'm talking with the company about either getting a new battery pack or sending a whole new timer.
I usually plant marigolds around this time. They keep the pests under control but I'm growing on my balcony. It might work in a ground garden if they're spread around in different locations. Maybe right down the center of some raised beds would look nice with some brasicas. My lettuce on one side and baby carrots on the other side. That pop of orange on the bright greens just invites in the autumn season.
Brian, don't want to alarm you, but it looks like a mountain lion print. I couldn't tell if there are claws in the print. If so, it could also be a large coyote. But, my guess is a mountain lion. I would make sure Scar has a safe place to sleep at night and the chicks enclosure is strong enough. Also like what you're doing with your water catchment installations and planning. I sent you a message some time ago, about your gopher problem being a native San Diegan now living in the Bay Area. I've been trying to guess where you are living by how the mountains look around you. Looks like maybe Ramona, Escondido, Poway, or even outskirts of El Cajon/Crest area. Your videos make me homesick. Love what you do and how you share what you're doing around your place. Donna
I'm so glad to hear you say you are also over the summer garden; I thought it was just me being lazy! Also agree with mountain lion for the print because I didn't see claw marks ( canines can't retract their claws like cats)
If I were you I would put up a trail cam. Could be a mountain lion. If so, it knows you have chickens and a will know about Daisy as well. You probably need to keep Daisy in a shelter at night in my opinion. Everything looks wonderful in the yard and I already have my fall garden in.
I have gone through a lot of faucet electrical and Bluetooth timers, orbit, Melnor (which I had replaced yearly under warranty for 3 years as solenoids would just stop opening). I finally gave up, went to standard irrigation controls, but using a wyze WiFi controller, and haven’t had a problem since.
I've started my fall garden. So far I've got yellow squash, tomatoes, broccoli, and brussels sprouts. I'm going to try garlic for the first time. I'm on the Gulf Coast of Texas. After 40 years of trial and error I'm putting everything in containers (I use cattle mineral tubs.) I've got a shade cloth on the way to protect the young plants that I started from seeds under lights about 3 weeks ago. I also bought an olla based irrigation system that I am excited to try out. My in-ground beds are now dedicated to herbs and medicinal plants. I've got a lemon tree that's going into the ground and a small fig tree that is getting moved as soon as we get enough rain to dig a hole.
I am planning a fall garden, sort of. 😉 I'm new to this so still finding my way. Planning garlic (first time ever, waiting on shipment), Brussels sprouts and cover crops for the rest (doing fava beans as cover crop). We shall see how it goes.
This is definitely the video I needed to see. My Summer plants are showing signs of the end but im keeping them plugging along but really have the itch to rip everything out too! But the months of work is SO hard to destroy haha, knowing full well its time to plan the fall garden... I've kinda been lazy because if the heat though haha.. looks like it's time to go ahead lay it out 😅
Brian, glad to know its not just me! I've been fighting off leaf-footed bugs, hornworms and now some sort of fungal infection with my tomatoes. I was out in the garden yesterday trying to kill more leaf-footed bugs and had the "I think I'm just gonna call it and rip it all out" moment. Peppers are not producing as much and my squash got destroyed by squash bugs earlier in the year. The only thing that seems to be doing well is the sweet potatoes. I planted some garlic and might throw some potatoes in a few spare root pouches and Ruth Stout them. Thanks for the inspiration!
I know I had a terrible crop , I can't be outside when is hot and humid! It is annoying! Maybe I can put up with the heat but humidity totally sucks! I can't find seedlings and I don't have any! Maybe I can throw some seeds in and see what happens! I really need irrigation system!🤗💕🤗 Blessings
Same here - I have tried several different brands of bluetooth/WiFi valves, and they are all just ok, not great. I ended up back at the same BHyve valves you are using. I set a Reminder for myself on the 1st of each month to check batteries and watering status, and I replace batteries at 50%. That has solved most (but not all) of my issues.
..lol..well, I’m in Michigan, so I NEVER get tired of my summer garden. It goes SO fast..and this summer seemed like it went even faster than normal. 🤨. Great Job, Brian…you’re a beast.
My garden was horrible this year got very little to produce. Going to try some fall gardening hopefully it will be better. As for the paw print I'd say Mountain lion/ cougar. Be careful at night and keep an eye on your animals!
I do not ever rely on timers for anything critical, and I rely less and less on technology to perform functions "unsupervised"! The less complicated a system is, the better..simplicity is the key to peace of mind, etc etc! And yes, it's hard to maintain enthusiasm when things are dying out..don't feel like you're betraying your garden..its a cycle and that feeling is part of the cycle of seasons.
The chickens always sound so cool with their clucking!! What a day for your whole family...you have a great support system! I am also done with the heat in NW Georgia!!!! Good luck to you with everything!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, we did a Fall garden up here in zone 9A what a pleasure that was! Lots of bountiful crops. Getting ready to do it again. It’s like you say definitely MY favorite time of year to garden as well🥬🥕👍
We have B-Hyve ours always goes into "Rain Delay" even when there is no rain forecast for us here where we live. If Orange County or Big Bear is forecast for rain it will switch to Rain Delay for us. As I was writing this my husband said nothing was water this morning because of Rain Delay. Very frustrating.
That paw print isn't a feral pig - so it only remains to be a large wolf/dog (not a medium coyote) or a mountain cougar eyeing your chickens, .... or a loogaroo (werewolf) or a skinwalker !
I have an Orbit hose timer from Home Depot. The batteries last all summer and during the winter (although I bring them indoors in winter). Old fashioned and dependable. I am very pleased and have more than one.
I am so sorry your system is doing this to you. I think our biggest struggle is what type of drip to use that consistently works. The little umbrella once they close on their own magically and stop watering we have everything on the timer the old-fashioned kind and other than broken pipes or Dripset aren’t working. It’s been pretty good or like you said human error. We have a fall garden, and I laughed when you said you’re tired of your summer garden because I love my vegetables in the summer I hate store-bought tomatoes but I looked out the other day and thought the same thing! We have a fall garden and just added on 2 boxes so we can have more veggies! Thanks for your videos!
We opted for timers with no batteries... thinking EMP... lol. 😮 Dang... that's a big kitty paw print. Best to keep the puppy inside. Akways great information. Thank you so much.
Yes I have torn out cucumber and old cherry tomato plants. I think my squash is done and I have reseeded three hills of different varieties. I love the fall garden. I have new cucumbers up and planted potatoes that chitted. Today I direct seeded some onions and cherry tomatoes. Planting melons ( cantaloupe) on my trellis. We don’t get freezes every year and if it does it will be Christmas or after. Getting a freeze dryer soon and would love to freeze dry cilantro. Also planed some bunching onion sets. Ordered garlic today. Kept a few pepper plants to see how they winter. Having grown up in CA iris are my favorite flower.
I should have started a fall garden a couple weeks ago but i don't have a whole lotta fall before freezes.... but I did get some peas in and beans a month ago. Need the energy to make a cover and maybe grow broccoli late into nov....hmmm. love your videos! Living vicariously thru you.
Love fall gardening! There are so many things you can grow, and I Iove all the tasty winter greens and roots. But I'm with Emilie -- cilantro is a no-go for me. I wish I liked it because these days it seems to be in everything! Btw, I'm no expert, but those might be bobcat prints.
Ours stopped working due to low batteries when the drip irrigation was running and ran throughout the night. No warning ⚠️ what if we had been out of town for a few days! It would have suffocated my garden
I am using rain point, but not any of the smart watering. No matter what the weather is like. It's set to 25 minutes every morning before sunrise. I get a notification every morning when it turns on and when it turns off. Super reliable.
I WISH I could do a fall garden..🥺 Zone 5B southern Colorado. Nothing will live through our nights as of October 1st. Temps are anywhere from 48-30 degrees. We are expecting a soft freeze any day now. My garden was fully harvested yesterday. It’s so empty and looks so lonley. Kinda like my heart… 😢 I get so sad during the fall and winter. I guess for a girl who is not willing to give up her Colorado life, I just have to live with it. 😢 I enjoy watching your beautiful fall garden. Thank you for sharing. 😊
There is a slow bolt cilantro. I usually do a mixture of cilantro, lime/lemon juice, garlic, salt & freeze in cubes. Then when I do salsa or my Cilantro Creamy chicken I take out cubes.
The print looks canine to me. Big cats have a little wider set print with olive shaped toe prints. Canines have teardrop shaped toe prints, that jut out just a little more forward on the front two toes.
I’d say mountain lion or an extremely big bobcat but judging from where you live with the hills all around you, I’d go with mountain lion. I would get some kind of camera maybe a game camera aimed at that area in a wide enough angle to see if you can catch it on video.
I live in SAcramento, and have already begun to replace a few plants that were pooping along. My space is small, so if you stop producing, you don't get much mercy. But the tomatoes are still going strong, so they will stay, and the beets and fennel have to wait for them.
I am ready to get rid of the summer garden. All plants are floppy and tall! Sort of purging taking thise plsmts out and cleaned ng up the gardens. Totally tired of the heat here in KU!
My last summer garden here in the desert! Will try to keep my very few perennials alive. Nothing likes to be in the 120s including me!🥵 Getting ready for my real season here in Palm Desert. Will start planing in the coming weeks.
Yes, I am tired of the summer garden and HEAT!!! Well the bugs too. I made a list of what we want to eat, then used your list of what nutrients they need and planned out my planting layout. My garden is smaller than yours. I have two questions. Why did my climbing peas last year not climb? And my bush beans sent out long branches like they were climbers? Thanks for all of your info.
My garden is on my back porch so mostly container gardening with a couple raised beds. The weather here in the Northeast has been a challenge this year for sure. SO much rain...I'm getting root rot all over the place. Soil got so compacted my carrots are about an inch long. Vine borers got all my squash plants. I'm feeling done. First frost is about a month away so not much longer. Gonna harvest what I can and put it all to bed. Your garden is so impressive...even with your challenges!!!
I have pulled some of my summer garden plants up. I will be fall gardening. I hope it does better than my summer garden. My flowers have been pretty this year but the vegetables not so much.
That cottage garden is gorgeous! Thanks for the kick to keep me going here in NE Indiana. There's more I can do yet this season including adding guilds around our 3 fruit trees. Let's go!
Talk about HEAT !!! This past week here in Carleton place Ontario we broke 3 or 4 daily heat records for September . I have tried digital timers on my pool pump as well as on block heater for winter on the vehicles ( nothing really wants to start at - 35 degrees celsius) and on my grow lights. I tried several types, all junk after 8 to 16 months of use. Back to the mechanical for the past few years with no problems . Hope all is good with you and your family, hope your mom enjoys her new house. Cheers 🍻
Mountain lion!! Many coming down from hills this year. I'm in Tri Valley area in San Francisco part of the state. Lots more big cats coming down this year. Outdoor cats, chickens, etc. disappearing. Turkeys are much scarcer, and the deer are noticeably absent as well. Be aware, dusk and dawn are the likeliest time they will come around. Best of luck to Scar.😢😢
My neighbor’s sprinkler system is a wifi controlled one, when they went on for 3 months vacation, their fiber box went down. It did not send them any notifications, or be converted to a regular sprinkler. It is a pain… I had to hand watering their plants before the ATT guy fixed the fiber. High tech is good but not always….
I had the same thing with my timers, although not bluetooth. It was purely my fault for not checking the batteries. Absolute learning experience. I will check those batteries every few months from now on. And I can agree, tired of strugglingthis summer. Tomatos have pretty much stopped, but have green tomatos just not ripening. I'm gonna hold on my urge to totally tear everything out for another few weeks. I have not done a fall garden, so am anxious to see what you recommend.
Yeah, I’m with you. Ready to yank everything. Except the pumpkin. I’ve got one pumpkin! Inspire me! I need inspiration for a fall garden! I’m just south of you, so same weather. The heat….
Love your Flowers~! MEGA Drought here in TX. More than 70+ days OVER 100*. Trees dieing. Not allowed to Water Outside. Using my shower water and hand washing to water a few to keep alive..... Jacob's Well dried up. Creeks and Rivers almost gone or gone.
Thank you! Emilie is looking into a guardian dog
Anatolian shepherds are the best! And they are usually long lived. I plan to getting some more after I find my forever home. They are my favorite large breed dog.
anything connected to wifi internet can be screwed with. GO BACK TO OLD SCHOOL STUFF AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
Yep. So much for "smart" technology. It's got a long way to go before we will find it to be actually useful for us.
I think I’m going to
Hate to hear this sentiment. Not exactly the same thing, but my Rachio is great and so much easier to adjust than on my old rain bird… especially convenient when the weather is crazy and I don’t want to stand out in the heat or cold… or at 11pm when I suddenly doubt whether I turned a zone back on or not. If you don't see any nails wirh the prints, that indicates feline. Bobcat is my guess. Protect those outside animals.
Thank you. I will!
I would like to ser your cottage garden after dark, when the lights come on.
Brian I think you have a mountain lion so be careful early morning and dusk. I love your garden ❤
Thank you!

Lol. Yup!

Bobcat. They're pretty common around here. And they have big feet.
Yikes!😱

This summer in Florida has been challenging, I am so over the heat. Fall seedlings are sprouting, so looking forward to cooler weather.

Make sure Scar-Kitty is safe from whatever is leaving those humongous paw prints.
He is. He likes to spend his time sleeping under the solar panels lol
YES❣ Perennial Gardener here! We got this ❣👍❣ I enjoy the process of Gardening 🎉 we win some, we lose some 😊 we keep experimenting ❣🤩❣😎❣

I sometimes think older technology is the way to go. Go with the older more reliable timers.
Older is sometimes better 😁

You can also plant garlic from store bought, especially if you can purchase at an organic farmers market.
@@MGSpecial2023 Yup. But I ordered a specific type so I will wait on my shipment. 😉
I agree. Thought blue tooth was a great idea but I hated the 2 I tried. Went back to easy manual timers - no headaches or surprises.
I think that’s what I’m going to have to do
This is definitely the video I needed to see. My Summer plants are showing signs of the end but im keeping them plugging along but really have the itch to rip everything out too!
Sounds like gardening in sout Florida, bugs destroy everything overnight, fungus, worms, torrential rain, god-awful heat…take your pick.
You’re welcome 🙂
Love that the closed captioning at the start of the video scribes your chickens as 'foreign laughter'. 😂
Your not the only one. My dad insisted on wifi timers and they just unsink themselves or stop working it’s so frustrating
It really is!
I hear you! I'm in NC and the heat and humidity keep me indoors a lot more than I'd like! So ready for Fall!
🙋🏻♀️I’m over it too! Sooo many stinky squash bugs it’s disgusting!
I hear ya!!
Good to know. Thanks!
I sent a still frame to my brother who has been a tracker for many years and he said it’s a cougar with a cub. Y’all need to be careful!
Thank you!
I have good luck with light activated timers, one battery and set your length and it will come on at sunrise, great video.
Thank you!
..lol..well, I’m in Michigan, so I NEVER get tired of my summer garden. It goes SO fast..and this summer seemed like it went even faster than normal. 🤨. Great Job, Brian…you’re a beast.
Thank you!
I’m sick and tired of my summer garden too. Time to plan for Fall seeds!!!
Oh I totally understand! Veg garden being yanked out this week..
It’s such a good feeling
My garden was horrible this year got very little to produce. Going to try some fall gardening hopefully it will be better. As for the paw print I'd say Mountain lion/ cougar. Be careful at night and keep an eye on your animals!
Thank you!
I'm. So enjoying the layout of your garden... So very peaceful... YOU DA MAN!!!!
The chickens always sound so cool with their clucking!!
What a day for your whole family...you have a great support system!
I am also done with the heat in NW Georgia!!!!
Good luck to you with everything!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
@@littlehomesteadbigdreamsI love chicken sounds, good to hear them here, I miss my chickens! ❤❤
I have been using b-hyve hose timer for years with no problems. There is a notification for "Device Off" under "My b-hyve/Notifications" section.
I’ll have to check into it. Thank you!
Yes, we did a Fall garden up here in zone 9A what a pleasure that was! Lots of bountiful crops. Getting ready to do it again. It’s like you say definitely MY favorite time of year to garden as well🥬🥕👍
It is!
It is!
That paw print isn't a feral pig - so it only remains to be a large wolf/dog (not a medium coyote) or a mountain cougar eyeing your chickens, .... or a loogaroo (werewolf) or a skinwalker !
Freeze dry cilantro?!?! Mind blown!!! Like you, I ❤❤❤ cilantro!
hubby is a hunter. he said probably a mountain lion. He also said to look for prints around chicken run.
Thank you!
I have an Orbit hose timer from Home Depot. The batteries last all summer and during the winter (although I bring them indoors in winter). Old fashioned and dependable. I am very pleased and have more than one.
Thanks!
I love a fall garden. Much better then summer. I’m in Fallbrook.
Thank you!
I’m quite happy with my wifi timers, but mine are AC, not battery. I’ve never had an issue
Big paw prints! Time for a critter cam!
Sounds good!
I should have started a fall garden a couple weeks ago but i don't have a whole lotta fall before freezes.... but I did get some peas in and beans a month ago. Need the energy to make a cover and maybe grow broccoli late into nov....hmmm. love your videos! Living vicariously thru you.
Thank you!
You should see Emilie picking it out of her food 😂
@@littlehomesteadbigdreams I'm with Emilie! 😉🙃
Ours stopped working due to low batteries when the drip irrigation was running and ran throughout the night. No warning ⚠️ what if we had been out of town for a few days! It would have suffocated my garden
Of wow!
Oh my goodness! I was procrastinating the fall garden because it is still soooo hot here 😊. Gonna have to get going on it now😂
I am using rain point, but not any of the smart watering.
Sounds good!
Got my fall garden started
Awesome!
The print looks canine to me. Big cats have a little wider set print with olive shaped toe prints. Canines have teardrop shaped toe prints, that jut out just a little more forward on the front two toes.
Yessir! Getting ready to plant some fall crops in 7b NC. Cilantro, Tatsoi, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower & anything else I can squeeze in.
Great!
I’d say mountain lion or an extremely big bobcat but judging from where you live with the hills all around you, I’d go with mountain lion. I would get some kind of camera maybe a game camera aimed at that area in a wide enough angle to see if you can catch it on video.
Thank you. I will
I live in SAcramento, and have already begun to replace a few plants that were pooping along. My space is small, so if you stop producing, you don't get much mercy. But the tomatoes are still going strong, so they will stay, and the beets and fennel have to wait for them.
Sounds good!
Working on a small fall garden. Planted in August.
Great!
We have them in Australia, we call them Yowies, they come out of Billabongs at night.
Thank you
I have pulled some of my summer garden plants up. I will be fall gardening. I hope it does better than my summer garden. My flowers have been pretty this year but the vegetables not so much.
It was a weird year for gardening 😕
Yes it really has been weird weather...
Bobcat? They are in Vista for sure.
That’s what I’m afraid of
Paw prints may be a bobcat
That cottage garden is gorgeous! Thanks for the kick to keep me going here in NE Indiana. There's more I can do yet this season including adding guilds around our 3 fruit trees. Let's go!
Sounds good!
I hope to follow along with you and Fall gardening. I’m also here in Fallbrook.
Got my carrots, beets and lettuce planted. Zone 7a
Awesome!
Cheers 🍻
Thank you!
Thank you
My neighbor’s sprinkler system is a wifi controlled one, when they went on for 3 months vacation, their fiber box went down.
Sounds good
Yeah, I’m with you. Ready to yank everything. Except the pumpkin. I’ve got one pumpkin! Inspire me! I need inspiration for a fall garden! I’m just south of you, so same weather. The heat….
I’ll do my best 😁
I'm going to plant peas in my raised bed, love them. No more broccoli can't keep the caterpillars at bay even with BT.
Lol, I'm poor. I turn my on manually. Yeah!
Nothing wrong with that 🙂
Love your Flowers~! MEGA Drought here in TX. More than 70+ days OVER 100*. Trees dieing. Not allowed to Water Outside. Using my shower water and hand washing to water a few to keep alive..... Jacob's Well dried up. Creeks and Rivers almost gone or gone.
I’m sorry
ha, I got the same strip for my tree rose too
Looking forward to doing a fall garden next year. Heading to the South Pacific for much of this fall. Happy growing!
