Klasse Video! Hast den Ablauf verständlich und übersichtlich abgefilmt. Bei mir steht als nächstes der Wechsel der Kraftstoffpumpe an. Bin gespannt was noch kommt. Abo hast du dir verdient.
Great info in that video! I'm having trouble locating where the small white vacuum tubing goes that runs up towards the brake master cylinder. Could you look at your car and let me know if possible? I was using this video for some reference as you have some good shots up close of the engine bay. Thanks!
Thank you for this great video. 🥇 I have problem with rough idle in my 1990 MB W124 230E. When i turn on the key, engine hesitates in idle, rpm gauge jumps up and down and engine loses the power. The engine turn off is also rough. I want to solve that issue, and i bought all 4 these hoses. But i dont have those plastic connectors which connect that hoses. Do you stil have original part numbers of these 3 connectors ? I will buy them.
Great job must do this on mine - You said you’d post part numbers I can’t see them - have you got them ? Also might have been worth doing the breather hose on the baffle under the valve cover these leak oil into the air filter housing and go hard and brittle like plastic 😮 you do great work great channel keep them coming 👍🙏
Thanks for feedback and the hint Rupert. Will tackle that next time when I remove the valve cover again. Never heard about it so far. The part numbers are in the comment section.
Hello. Hopefully you see my comment. I noticed mine has oil in it. Not.sure what may be causing that, but i have oil in mine. What could be issue hefe? Nice video
Hey! So i have an m102 8v ITB setup and all the crankcase ventilation/hoses have been deleted may you help me with how i should do the lines? i do have an IAC valve as well in the setup.
Thanks bro. Appreciate it a lot! Unfortunately I don’t have a link. But I remember that I posted the part numbers under a comment. I bought all pieces from the local Mercedes dealer. They still have those parts in stock. At least here in Germany. I hope this will help.
@@KUNIQUE it is a 190E 2.0L. i think that the idle air control is not at the same place. ( maybe to the left of the oil filter). i will check. there is also an idle adjustment screw next to the blue electrical plug
I first tried to push out the valve from the rubber mounting. Then I pulled the whole rubber out. Pushing down didn’t work. But it could be different in your case.

is there a trick to getting the hose re-connected to under the air filter at (10:13 and 10:18) - usually I must use a heat gun but today I dont have one and it is almost impossible to get it connected
Usually I also have used a heat gun to re-connect. But since the new hose was a bit more flexible it was easier (nevertheless very difficult) to put on the housing. I guess there is no trick.
Thanks again ! Just what I needed since the hoses are also dry and hard.

Hi ! I am very surprised... the idle air control is not present in my 1992 2.0 engine
That’s interesting. I thought all of them have an IAC. Seems like there are different versions.

My 1.8.190e is idling at 2000 rpm. What can I do.. throttle switch seems ok.
💥Nice bro
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks bro. Much appreciated!
Hi again. Did you try to push the valve down?
I took out the whole valve including the mounting. I guess you mean the IAC valve, right?
@@KUNIQUE Yes. I'm just wondering, did you try to push the IAC with mounting down?

Nice man, where did you get the hoses from?
Thanks mate. I ordered the hoses directly from Mercedes.

I like your videos. It seems to me that the valve went easily into place?? Greetings from Norwegen
Thanks Rune! Appreciate your feedback. It took me some time but I guess that’s normal because the rubber is a bit hard.
@@KUNIQUEThanks. Do you use any oil? Silicone?
Welcome! I applied some rubber care. There is also an episode for the IAC. There you can see what I have used and how I putted back in.
@@KUNIQUE Hi again. What episode do you mean? Did you try to push the valve down? Regards Rune
Is he faster after that?
The intention is not to increase performance, but to make the engine run more smoothly again
Please I need help finding these same crankcase ventilation pipes for my 190, where can I source them?
I bought the parts directly from Mercedes.
Steht mir bei meinem 190E M102 auch noch bevor, leider säuft der gute Sprit wie ein Großer

the hose section that came off at 0:45, is it as easy to reinstall?
It was pretty straight forward. But I used new hoses. No idea how it would be if I had used the old ones. Maybe you will need a heat gun.

Cannot find that connector valve as they have been discontinued A1020941012
what will happen if you dont connect it to the air filer box?
To be honest, I don’t know what could happen. I know it’s a pain to connect the air filter with this hose...
How much were these parts in total ?
Unfortunately I don’t remember exactly. It’s been a while since I have done this.
