- We learn a new echo song and notate the solfege and rhythms on the staff. I refer to The Cuckoo in the Woods by Camille Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals. Find a recording and listen carefully. Count how many times you hear the cuckoo's call!
We also learn how to notate the repeat sign.
