Actually the gator market has fall a lot, many hunters don't use all yheir tags because they waste more money in hunting them than in selling their skins. And this year there was practically no demand for them
When ever I feel like complaining about the cold weather I just watch videos like this. Yes I live in a place that gets in the negatives and hurts my face but hey I dont have to worry about dinosaurs or venomous snakes killing me.
It’s weird how the first time they pull the gator to the boat, it’s head is propped up looking like a golden retriever happy to see you. Massive heads those gators have.

Give it a couple more years and we'll see one of his kids grow to at least ten feet. Side note: the hunting of alligators is heavily tracked and regulated in the USA. Without that tag on the tail he would have been arrested and sentenced for poaching. Don't make gator hunting out to be something it's not.
Kinda sad tho since they are such innocent animals that don’t hurt anyone. I live up here in Minnesota and I’ve never heard of anyone attacked by a gator here
