It’s so good to see you, Alex! Whether it’s two videos a year or just one, it’s a gift to hear your calm thoughtful reflections on reading. Thank you for discussing your top reads and I think you’ll find Hurricane Season even more impactful than Paradais. 📚💕
This makes me so happyyy hehehe when you ask the universe to bring Alex back and it does 🤪🥲✨❤️ thank you for yet another thoughtful video, Alex! Hope you have a lovely holiday season
rumours of your demise have been greatly exaggerated! an annual Alex video is a lovely thing to look forward to. ✨all ten of these sound fabulous, thanks in no small part to your on-brand articulate and engaging reflections ~
I still really need to get to Hewitt's book (although I HATE the UK version of the cover). Really looking forward to the EVENT your half year/end year video updates will be. 😍
The beauty of booktube is that you can participate at your own pace and level. Making videos only when you want to talk about something instead of an arbitrary posting schedule sounds so healthy and who wouldn't be happy to see you pop up in their subbox? Also I really need to finally read The Idiot in 2023! Adding it to the wish list to increase the chances :D
best christmas gift ever! so so good to see you again. i've actually been thinking the same about Simple Passion. so short, so effective, and i've thought about it at least once a day of this year! wishing you all the best in 2023! 💓
Love to see a surprise video from my favorite booktuber. Dogs of Summer and An Exciting and Vivid Inner Life are both on my list. I hear you re: wanting to read more slowly. Can't wait to see what you read next ✨
Hi Alex, you were the one booktuber with whom my taste in books overlapped, so I was sad to see you go. Glad to hear that you are thinking of making one or two best books per year. That would actually be perfect. It takes time to read books. Especially those with more heavy subjects. Not everyone's pace is that of reviewers with 5-10 books per week. So getting one or two recommendations per year (even if it's just a couple of books) would be great. And I will definitely stick around for that. Thanks for the thoughts, and recommendations, and enjoy your life elsewhere.

I like being lied to ❤️
Oh i'm so happy to see you on here!
being a biannual youtuber is very chic actually
you could upload once every five years and I'd still stay subscribed ❤

Great to see a video from you! Adding Three Rooms to my tbr, and you remind me to try Annie Ernaux soon.
