As always a super detailed explanation on the topic at hand Eric. I can't believe the length of service intervals on new vehicles, what was the spark plug life span in your RZ? Lol
The RZ? Lol I remember putting in these Canadian Tire "Split Fire" plugs once... Not even a tank of gas and 1 plug fouled so bad the bike wouldn't even idle. Lol
I think a new intake would be great if you could tune the motor. As far as I know you can't on this Bronco, so No reason to mess with the A/F ratio or anything with the stock flow. Please correct me if I'm wrong. -Farley
Ford has their fully Warranted performance tune... And maybe some after market as well. I'd rather not lose the bottom end grunt for high rpm peakiness, personally.
Great video man. I’m a huge advocate of regular preventative maintenance. Filters for my BSPORT were unobtanium for ages and I had the original filter in place from new until recently at 50k kms. It drove me nuts but remarkably it stayed fairly clean and I think the techs kept it blown out at oil changes. I change my oil at 5000 kms. Religiously. Yes maybe overkill but I’ve always followed that and never had an engine fail in all my years of driving. I’d rather spend an extra couple hundred bucks a year on oil changes than risk premature wear Keep up the informative videos 👍🏼
Thanks for the reply... Yup, maintenance is a big deal for me as well. I just go by what the computer tells me for oil changes, unless I lived in Utah or Death Valley. My Fiesta used to go 12 to 16K between oil changes and I hammered that f*cking thing. 250+k, not an issue 👍🏻 I prefer better oil that Ford dishwater tho

Thank you for the video. Was able to replace my own filter and save some $

Thanks for posting and sharing your thoughts! Random question, where might I be able to get a sweatshirt like yours? Orange is my favorite color!
Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
The hoodie is one of my favorites as well. I bought it at Mountain Equipment Co-op many years ago.
Super comfy 🤘🏻
