I'm from Knoxville TN so it pains me to say Meyer is clearly the best college coach of the past 20 years not named Saban. Also most of the time I see or hear him in interviews I think he comes off as charismatic and very likeable. With that being said his Legacy is 100% tainted by the fact 31 players were arrested at Florida while he was coaching the Gators and right before the NCAA was going to punish them he retired for health reasons (convenient). Then He comes out of retirement less than 2 years later and kicks ass at Ohio for 7 years right up until he is suspended for covering up one of his assistant coaches domestic abuse. He says he didn't mention it because he believed it was a false allegation but as soon as it gets reported even though it is years later he fires the guy, if he really believes it is a false allegation why did he fire him? And then at the end of the season he again retires for cough cough health reasons (convienant). I think their is a good chance he gets the surgery he has mentioned as an option on his cyst and then comes out of retirement to go to USC or maybe another SEC school in the next 3 years he will say some BS like doctors now believe it's under control and he just loves the game to much to stay away. He has improved every team's record he has coached for and then left them with a worse reputation and possible NCAA penalties every time. I think Meyer is a 1st ballot hall of fame coach an all time great offensive football mind and a sub-par human being! His next coaching job will be great and super impressive right up until his new school accepts a multi-year scholarship reduction and multi-year playoff and championship ban.
