    If she learns to kick like she punches, she’ll become a serious ko artist.

    • @bandeano3870
      @bandeano3870 5 місяців тому +17

      What are you talking about? she is not a KO artist and she probably never will be. Look at her box record and it speaks for itself, she wins most fights by decision. In her pro boxing career she has 1 KO every 7 fights. and in her amateur boxing career she has 1 KO every 6 fights. that's clearly not a KO "artist". Please come back to reality before you make up more fairy tales

    Whoever is her coach, that dude needs to hold himself accountable for not applying any grappling game for Clarissa. Granted she has good stand up game, but her and her coach needs to come to a reality that Clarissa needs to apply grappling if she wants to continue fighting in Mma. If I was her that would be something I would do as soon as she comes back in the gym to train. I'd say at least 6 months of grappling training

    • @marcd1981
      @marcd1981 6 місяців тому +12

      She's being given special status, with Bellator changing the rules of how an MMA fighter can fight. Elbows were not allowed in this fight. How the hell do you tell an MMA fighter she can't use elbows. She had the mount at the end of the third round, and if she could have thrown elbows, it might have ended differently.

    • @Man295t

    • @stevesmith7843
      @stevesmith7843 5 місяців тому +4

      not really, she's being given fighters with losing records, who aren't allowed to use all their weapons, even though they're terrible lol. and they're still nearly beating her. put her in there against amanda nunes, or valentina schevchenko, she's done within 2 mins lol. That would be learning in the fire, like ngannou just did, beating fury then getting KO'D by joshua in round 1. This is just fighting people who suck and barely scraping by.

    • @lordsofgaming2930
      @lordsofgaming2930 5 місяців тому +10

      @stevesmith7843 why would you put her in there with those fighters? Why would you not build her up? She has no ammy record in MMA or experience in a comparable sport. Your using her for eyeballs to the sport due to her Olympic and Boxing experience where she is the most decorated woman athlete. and hoping you can bring her along through tune ups so she can fight bigger contenders for bigger pay days for your promotion. Lets just say you would be a terrible promoter/manager. Only required a slither of thought. You put any of those fighters in a boxing ring with her and you end up with the Jake Paul experiment. The reverse is happening here.

She spreads her matches out so far that she really isnt improving that much and hasn't learned any martial arts or other grappling moves except boxing... Hats off to De Santis for this to be her second fight she took the Boxing champion to the limits in a split decision that could have went either way..

I guess she was worried about hurting Sheilds in the last round when she was sitting on her chest, knees underneath the shoulders, past the guard, and didn't put her away. In that situation, any fighter with any strength left should have been able to drop deadly blows to stop the fight!
      How many times did she take sheilds back and couldn't sink in a choke? It was because it took strength, and she was gased out.
