    I like her.
    And honestly, the make up artist isn't as bad as some people make it sound.

    people need to understand that fashion trends and makeup trends are very different in other CountryS, and that also means makeup artists are different, we cant expect them to use the same tecniques or the same brushes in the model just because we are used to it.
    I really think the makeup was well done, not perfect, but worked with the clothes and the model.....
    like always good job guys!! 😃

      We especially can't expect h.NAOTO to not be original in some aspect.

      yes styles of makeup differ but the techniques are universal n these techniques were horrid

    • @KawaiiPateen
      @KawaiiPateen  9 років тому +1

      +Erin Ennis-Calderon I would be happy to see a list of all the makeup techniques of all the cultures of mankind, just to verify the universality, we never know there might be one or two differences somewhere.

      +KAWAII PATEEN true n we r all also entitled to our own opinion which is what I'm stating. as I beauty consultant n makeup artist I don't necessarily agree with his practices n clearly I'm not the only one who thinks this. it doesn't mean I hate the look or hate him or I'm going to.go.unsubscribing to your channel..no.I'm just stating my opinion which I believe I'm entitled to. my husband has cancer n you tube videos r the least of my.worries. I just wanted to share my opinion since I saw so many others with the same thought so u can stop getting so defensive bc I really doubt my.little opinion makes a darn difference :-)

      +Erin Ennis-Calderon A lot of people do seem to think he does a bad job. So be it. But saying that techniques are universal is a bit over the roof ;)

    I can't believe people are bashing h. NAOTO's make up artist for doing a bad job?!?!?Really?!? Everything he did was on purpose and to create a unique and suitable make-up, which btw ended up being gorgeous

    • @joyhana3542
      @joyhana3542 9 років тому +4

      I guess no one asks... what effect does his make up application do to the face. Instead, it's all... oh he didn't do the rule book of makeup... which is basically made up of make up artists fusing the different methods they've practiced before and 'deemed' appropriate. And again... it's a different culture of style..... it's really not a difficult concept to get one's head around. It's understandable to critic... but those critism lack anything constructive other than to jab the 'didn't follow preconceived makeup standards here in the West' (blanket statement over there).

      Well...He left a portion of her cupids bow without any product. Clearly seen at 7:47 Its uneven and can't believe that was done on purpose. Other then that, I agree with you.

    when you put make up on face , something is telling you : I feel so beautiful now XD The model has an interesting face because many styles can suit her! I think I should buy this kind of cosmetics. I really love japanese fashion , I would love to try something like that even if it s just for fun . * A *

      It's a different style altogether, which has been stressed over other comments on here. I'm not used to this style of application itself, but if it's more than one video of this on this channel.. I would presume that's the practice there. It also doesn't make it wrong. Just different.

    He's not applying lipstick evenly......
    is he trying to make her lips smaller? he missed half of her lower lip.....

    • @indigogo5925
      @indigogo5925 9 років тому

      culture is different
      in Japan, smaller is cuter.
      it would make no sense to make it larger

    • @indigogo5925
      @indigogo5925 9 років тому

      but for the most part i could agree he messed up on the lips
      even the lashes

    • @indigogo5925
      @indigogo5925 9 років тому

      he also didnt apply mascara to the lashes to blend
      i dont really know what he was going for in that but ye

    • @kardsh
      @kardsh 9 років тому +1

      +Indigo Lemon there are more ways that are neater to make lips look smaller, this just make it look like she can't apply lipstick....
      none in this channel blend eyelashes with mascara..

    • @joyhana3542
      @joyhana3542 9 років тому

      +Nafolchan If that was the case then I would guess it's just the way makeup is worn over there. I can't tell you for sure coz I'm in UK. Doesn't mean it's wrong, it just means it's a different practice to what we've been accustomed to (considering the bombarment of epic portion of makeup tutorial choices on youtube itself, all mostly from here in the West).

    as a makeup artist I cringe how he applies things, how he left the creased up foundation under her eyeshadow and doesn't seem to blend...

      hey how come u didn't get a bunch of defensive comments like I did. lol.

    • @joyhana3542
      @joyhana3542 9 років тому

      +Erin Ennis-Calderon got tired basically... i mean, if these criticisms state "this channel" etc., most people reading these type of comments, or have seen the other videos, would've assumed or perceived already that it's not a mistake but rather a practice over there. To reply to the same critical comment, again, to explain this is... tiring ... and is quite counter intuitive.
