A great way to scoop out crevices is to cut a plastic bottle in half like a Powerade and you can jam it right in to scoop out material! Love the videos! Keen em coming haha
Cheers. I intended to make it but didn’t get time before I left. In saying that, now I can make one based on your video and do another test run on the crevices as comparison a video.
Just food for thought I used to work in construction industry operated excavators 1cubic metre of river type gravel weighs around 1.8 tonnes that a lot to move in 48 hours hopes this helps 😀
Lol. That doesn’t surprise me at all. You feel the weight in the bucket with water removed. I can’t imagine it to be possible for an individual to do it under the rules in NSW. Cheers for the info.

Good little crevicing tool. Nice bit of Gold also.
It is. I think it was worth more than the gold! But it was still finding larger flakes than usual.
thanks for sharing, keep the shiny coming
You’re welcome. This area makes it easy…sort of.
@@InSearchOf...Australia When you get time, can you show ophir, stuart town gold collecting
@@crazyjestor435 Ophir is certainly on my list. Just unsure when I'll be heading there.
Lovely day out and nice to see some reward for your effort
It was. A picker and a crevice tool on top of the serenity.
Nice one :) Thanks for the vid
Cheers. Glad you like it.
Im working in Bathurst atm, heading to sofala tomorrow, gonna head along upper turon
Their is cracking gold down the bridle at the turon side creeks
Wish I went that way…I went to the lower Turon and got two specks for my efforts. I’ll head up river next time. Hill End was a different story.
@@InSearchOf...Australia if ya not doing anything tomorrow come out, a partner in crime is always better to find colour
@@darrenbooker8144 if I was still out that way I definitely would have come along! Cheers for the invite.
