I'll get this smelled so delicious! I love the smell of coffee. Who doesn't, right? What do you do with the large pieces you cut off before you cut the soap into bars? Just curious.

This is amazing, may I ask, why did you freeze the coffee first?
I treated it as if it were a milk soap. I wasn’t sure if the lye would burn the coffee if i did it the traditional way.
I tried it without freezing and it was fine, and I use citric acid which tends to heat things up a bit! So, no worries next time you use brewed coffee, it won't be a problem 😊.

Normal water for the coffee to boil or distilled water heared tap water will spoil the soap

How well do the coffee and cocoa scents stick after saponificaion?
It still smells like coffee. It’s light but it’s definitely there. But the soap is about 2 weeks old. Hopefully it will stay.
