Hi Bob.. nice tour.. that stupid frig up top ? ..that's bassbackwards should be down below bottom.. 1:21 not uptop..plus it looks be overhanging frt edge.. omg.. screwed up.. and small frig sucks.. plus they leak out water when need defrosting....
Bed is so wide 0:59 ..have narrow lil closet 1:38 space under microwave spot there... if hadnormal width bed prob put good size frig/frzr under the microwave. rght?
not need queen size bed in cab.. too wide wasted space.
..best has lots of nicewindows in back, above moon roof, frt r pass door... but... do Tdrivers like those windows or are they not needed.. easier to break in etc?

Is it really that bad seeing w sidemirrors 0:30 .. looks kind a ok to get view of out back rear ?
That would be def bad w a trailer hooked up... mirrors look small short cheap too.. would expect nice big long ones on a brand new '21 389 Pbilt.
    not aTrucker.. so i dunno.

  • @phillp7777
    @phillp7777 3 роки тому +1

Yes cabspace upfront looks really narrow.. 0:44 seems it would feel crowded be jammed up esp if teamdriving w guy in pass seat.. less space.

  • @phillp7777

Look how diff on 567 Pbilt it's got 11:01 special frt round mirrors tilted down so u can see over nose and the frt bumper... ( kinda look stupid but maybe useful) ... but 389 longnose got nothing like that and need it more. Did they design the 567 after the 389 ? ( try correct their mistakes?)
Yeh those exh stacks so big must get in way of sidemirrors be able see trailer backing up... stupid desugn.. if ask me.. but not a Trucker.

Why how is manual shifter pattern so diff on this 389 Pbilt than what yur used to ?
It looks pretty smooth easy watchn you drive.
    Good Luck !

Tha main difference is you don't shift from 5th to 6th on an 18 spd.

Thanks for a tour of the modern semi. I've always wondered what they look like when I see those sleepers.

Great truck. Length of the hood will not be a problem, unless you do a lot city driving. Watch Super Trucker Dan to get a driver’s take on the difference between a “hood” and an aero truck and the Paccar engine. All the best with your decision. Blessings

Do you recommend me starting with Roehl.i graduated trucking school on December 8 of 22

Roehl is as good a carrier as any to start with.

  • @cintroneric

I was wondering, are you still working for Roehl? Peterbilt is a good choice. I put a application for Roehl and a recruiter already contact me, but I am waiting to see what is going to happen in my job after November 1st. I have been working for Chicago Transit Authority for 20 years as a bus operator, but the city is mandating the vaccine and I don't want the jab. so I'm looking forward to join the trucking industries.

I don't think the trucking industry is exempt from the mandate is it? I don't know.
No, I bought a truck last February and leased it onto a hazmat carrier. I still run 48 states OTR but make lots more than I ever did.

@@BullseyeBob Are you still working for Roehl? I'm doing a research on a few companies that I have in mind like Roehl, Schneider, CFI or TMC. And all this companies are not mandating when I ask, I hope they don't change their minds.

Good video Bob. Nice truck. But if you can't see, you can't see. A no for me. Your eyes in the video say "not for me ". Good seein' ya again. Stay safe.

Nothing nicer than trying out new equipment. I think I'd prefer the 567, love that black and the sloped hood.
I'd like to see that one on test too. Next time,..tell us ( me ) what engine you have and horsepower too, please.

I've been gone from Roehl for a few months now. Still need to make a video on that. Was nothing negative.....just family situation where I needed to be home more frequently and more days at home, and Roehl had nothing in my area to accommodate such a schedule.

Was your overall experience with Roehl positive? I've read they can help you become an owner/operator, so I'm interested to know if they helped or if you accomplished it a different way.
