He had so many reactions, one of the biggest I had to see on replay was the forcefields against the immortal, and then of course the blinks. I wonder how it would have gone down if the attacker led with the immortal
4:10 would have been so funny if cap said “we can never play this build again” and then the load screen pops up and he casually just says “okay we are gonna do the same strategy as last time” 😂
In these episodes somehow I always root for the opponent without realizing, perhaps because I always imagine myself playing against these on the ladder and what my response would be 😅.
It's funny that Hamsters videos have became one of my absolute favourites. I would like one man army more tho, if your teammate was allowed to mine 400 minerals and quit, so you get money for the free nexus. That is reasonable in my opinion, becouse enemies have 2 bases at start. You should have also. It is impossible tho, but this is closest thing I have came up with
uThermal has a couple videos in which he plays 1v4, but his allies share control with him so he has the same economy as his opponents. Those vids predate one man army by about a week or something, and might have been Harstem's inspiration for one man army. I bet he does the pure 1v2 to give it his own unique twist instead of copying uThermal's 1v4.
@@mrikikmeneer5782 Okay! Thank you. I understand it then, that he wants to do it more hardcore way. If he wanted to get grand master tho, he would propably do it with the support of a free nexus. It's still a huge handicap compared to that "Useless" would leave right away, and Harstem got 2 teams to play. He still would have economic slowdown and 200 population limit compared to enemy team.
Harstem theres always love for a good Cannon Rush episode of CMA, though I have to ask if 2022 is going to see an installment of "Pretending to be AFK..." on either CMA or BGMWSS
09:10 -- if Harstem had let his Adepts to do some more work (and DIE...), they would have got like 4-5 probes more, and that would have netted him the game! :)
@@henningbreede6428 . >Low level player How do you know? ;] >No way he would have gotten 4-5 probes more Ok, make them 3-4 instead. AND an additional 7-8 seconds of mining time lost. That would have made ENOUGH difference for Harstem to win. There really was no point in escaping with these adepts. Why would he want to keep them alive at 10 hp each? Waste of supply.
13:25 Harstem explains investment, and how he felt the needed to utilize the proxied buildings instead of investing in base defense. Gamblers fallacy. he thought his adept could only work once, but he applied the gamblers fallacy, and thought it could work once more. Awesome tournament build. 2 adept proxy. it has the element of surprise.
The fact that it still lost, shows that it's a low tier build in tournaments as well. He needed an earlier robo, but that had little to do with using the proxied gateways.
@@henningbreede6428 what I'm explaining, is the logic in the build. typically if you open 1 gate, no one's expecting an amount of adepts capable of heavy damage, therefore there wouldn't be a probe at the door. if there was, it would because of a sick scout, or some 6th sense maphack luck, because it's a waste of a probe, that probe would be mining. the fact that he got 8 probe kills puts him up, but the fact that he lost the element of surprise completely made the second adept push useless. it wasn't a bad build. it's just specific, specifically good for 2 adepts, then the next two units gets rallied back to base, because a component opponent might wall, and counterattack. this is gm thinking. I mean most people don't have that specific enough of control. Ill easily admit, I don't. when most people are talking about build orders they're just talking about how to set up your buildings easiest for the units you're going to spam. it's for pure spamming. I think this build orders was real high level. you probably just play spammy like most people. I'll admit I do to. it's literally the most elementary idea in SC2. mass lings, mass marines, mass zealot charge, random apm boosting useless clicks. control is actually very difficult in SC2, while also macroing. his lost investment, the cost of this build would be that his next 2 units would have to walk back to base, or he would've had to build a battery. but bruh he still has the proxy, and it gives map control and an easy means to scout, and he got 8 worker kills. Harstem just has to know to rally the next units back home. it's not a low tier build. it's very high tier in fact. Harstem probably decided to continue with the attack because 1) spamming units at the point of production is considered optimal (in terms of clicks, ie spam) 2) he forgot, that he literally said it'd only work once before actually doing it, therefore his second adept push was his application of the gamblers fallacy, this was probably due to natural macro instincts, but sometimes is confused with spam. I'm not arguing most people play click optimal - 'you can only do as much as your apm'. harstem is capable of more control than to be influenced by spamming. Seriously how Alphazero of a move would it be to just proxy 2 gateways for exactly 6-8 worker kills, send the next wave of units back to base, and realize, the opponents either going to expand aggressively or attack aggressively? definitely some high level thinking and execution required.
Black shirt makes you look like you head is flying. Nice cloaking, mr DT.
The captain is giving is subconscious DT training .o7
That follow-up counter attack play by the 3rd player was actually phenomenal, was worried there initially when it showed up.
I am pretty sure I would have lost to that.

"Sometimes things that are short are also fun" That's my new moto
live by that statement
Can you do the afk strategy again? Really enjoyed that episode.

Is that what she said though?
We need to see beating grandmasters with stupid stuff, but in an actual tournament
Huge rookie move with the no gg from mr Bubbas there

Hey Kev, I would love to see your yestarday game2 vs Clem on Is it imba or do I suck... I have no idea how u loss that
That had to be the most epic probe fight I've ever seen
The general chat is really toxic. Holy crap
Beta male detected.

I love how the first second of the video is like "You do not have enough minerals" 🤣
Cannon rushers have no place in hell. There must be worse place to take them into.
Fun vids bro but these games ain’t getting you out of the C-tier list.
Lmao I got a Cracker Barrel cheese ad halfway through
But you didn't build any cannons in game 1 :(,
cheesy harstem is the best harstem. i feel you becoming the has of EU :D
there are not enough minerals
I love you harstem
what map is third game?

Stupid Stuff: Tempest Observer, instead of revelation just use observers, try to have as many observers as possible
Dear Harstem, please play mass Hydralisks only. I know you are the one who can win with this stupid stuff. Thank you.
harstem 100% gets a hardon when someone doesn't gg. I bet it's because he thinks of how much the other person must be suffering.
well I guess that game wouldve been won without giving away the 3 voids almost for free ;)
How do you talk that quick at the end there? WPM faster than your APM
I like how the gg counter has evolved. At this point it's the goal to get the opponent to leave without gg'ing
